A great place to stay along the beach in Valencia, Spain. All staff very pleasant to engage with and extremely accommodating without having to ask. Most speak English making communication easy.
Recommend 4th floor Executive room with beach view that comes with a complimentary spa. Concierge, reception staff, wait staff, host and hostesses all speak English. Housekeepers kept the room exceptionally clean and would often check-in to see if we had enough coffee, water, etc.
Private balconies and terraces.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mari L.San Marcos, Vereinigte Staaten11321618. Apr. 2023
Beautiful hotel, and very affordable, when it is off-season. Amazing service by the concierge who always wanted us to great meals and attractions. The breakfast is excellent and very much worth it. Across the way is the ocean, which I can see being a perfect spot during warmer times. Across the street is a very cute and delicious restaurant, and just down the beach is a roll of really great small restaurants on the ocean front.

Absolutely gorgeous property overlooking the city and right on the beach! Las Arenas has a number of services worth taking advantage of including several pools (one with a diving board), lounge chairs, an outdoor bar, a spa, gym, and an indoor bar and restaurant. They also have an on-site parking garage (priced around 18E a night).
The staff was friendly, helpful, and provided great recommendations. The rooms were large, luxurious, and very comfortable. The location was great for a beach getaway as you open right up to a stunning fountain as you head to the beach. There are a number of restaurants all within walking distance and many of the main stops are a quick taxi or drive away.
Las Arenas can be expensive, but it is certainly worthwhile in the offseason (we went in early October), where you can still get beach and pool weather, the property is less crowded, and prices are a steal!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nantisara P.Valencia, Spanien135838176. Juni 2016
I went to this hotel for dinner as a part of a communion's celebration. The food was really good. The service was friendly and efficient. It was a proper restaurant with good service. The waiters can speak English too. The atmosphere was really nice. It was relaxing to walk around the hotel. I like the big fountain, the terrace and the green area they have. I heard that the spa there is also nice, but expensive.
This is also quite a popular place to held wedding receptions. On the same day I went, I saw a wedding reception.
However, I am not sure if I would wanna go back there again since it is quite overprice.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Tono M.Chattanooga, Vereinigte Staaten64710122327. März 2016
Great location on the beach and the staff was great.
We had an issue with Expedia (with whom we booked the resort) and the staff was able to work with Expedia to sort it out, no drama. Very nice.
The place is a true resort, beautiful property right on the beach. The rooms are awesome (great bedding) and the bathroom had a premium shower. A premium shower in that it had numerous jets you could select (be careful as there's a lot of water pressure and one jet of water in the wrong place can change your day :).
The restaurant on the property is high priced so you could walk around and find something. It's high priced and the quality of the food is great.
The only thing we didn't like was the bed. Rather than a king size they had two twin beds pushed together (or something like that).
Would not hesitate staying at this property again.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Johnny V.Aurora, Vereinigte Staaten561582622. Okt. 2014
I freakin loved this hotel--honestly I didn't want to leave. It's large, modern, clean, beautiful, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, offering suggestions, services, and even umbrellas without prompting, and I appreciated how thorough the check-in was. There's a beautiful spa and an outside dining area (with great food and a great drink menu) looking upon the ocean, which is not much more than 100 yards beyond the property. Now I was lucky that all the hotels I stayed in were pretty clean, but this place was immaculate, and you can tell how much attention is paid to the details.
Our room (I think it was called a presidential room) was a pretty good size and had a balcony with an awesome view of the ocean. Again, everything was modern and up-to-date, and the air conditioning worked beautifully; the room service was expensive, being about the same as it was at other five-star hotels, but that's fine. Not remote or stranded out in the middle of nowhere, you can easily and pleasurably walk along the beaches or further into the city to find numerous eating and drinking options. I was extremely happy with this place, and although it was expensive, I did feel that it was worth every penny that I spent--if I happen to go to Valencia again, I would not only consider staying at this hotel, I might even just cut to the chase and book there without bothering to look anywhere else.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Daria G.Valencia, Spanien1266530. Went there yesterday with my husband for the first time. Probably the most important thing for me about a spa is not how many tubs they have, but the cleanliness. Both the hotel and the spa are IMPECCABLY CLEAN.
The changing room is also the way you would expect it to be being 5 stars: luxurious setting, showers with amenities, hairdryer, bathing suit dryer. You get a robe and a towel (have to bring your bathing cap, flip flops).
The spa interior is in beautiful rich blue shades, and the main water pool has chrome therapy lighting. I believe one of the jacuzzi pools has thermal water. What else is there, hammam, sauna, gorgeous cold shower sprinkled at your from all angles (great after spending 10-15 minutes in the sauna!), ice water pool. Different types of high pressure water delights. You can swim out to the patio - more chrome therapy there and a hot tub. Although it was 10 degrees C, swimming outside was heavenly (and very romantic too ;-)
Try ice drench aromatherapy shower at the end - it has a nice masculine fragrance to finish off the day.
We'll be back.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Carrie C.Sparks, Vereinigte Staaten166801051. März 2016
Very nice hotel. My sister say it's like being at caesar's palace in Las Vegas. The rooms are spacious. The shower has 16 heads. And there's a goody bag with basic necessities available in the bathroom. The only problem we had was looking for a door to/from the beach. There's only one to the far left of the hotel. The rest is enclosed by a wall.

This place really lives up to the billing. Gorgeous rooms and views. First class service. Pool was ultra, ultra clean. Short hop to the beach, remember to bring your Euros as you have to rent chairs and and umbrella. Close to the seaside restaurants which are a little touristy but good. We did not avail ourselves to any of the spa services but based on everything else we experienced, I would expect they are top notch. The only minus is the prixe fixe breakfast is pricey but very good. Highly, highly recommend. Just remember it is not close to the city center so plan on cabbing it there.
