Went here when on my trip to Paris first night, the restaurant was about to close but the stuff was kind and let us enjoy the restaurant and opened the kitchen for us. The waiter and hostess were attentive and polite.

The food was delicious my sister and her friend had the foie gras(duck liver) which they said was very good.

The smoke salmon was good but nothing extraordinary.

The oysters were good and I liked the sauces they came with.

Overall the place was a nice place for a night out!

Nice place close to CE where you have the expected parisiense service and food.
Not exceptional but a place you can go knowing what you're going to get. Worth another 1/2 star

This place looked promising from the outside. I went in and I was alone, so they put me at a table right up front by the stage . The 2 piece band was playing and it was pretty loud but I didn't mind. I sat there for at least 10 minutes before they even came by my table. People seated around me that came after me were getting olives, bread, butter, and drinks. Me- nothing. It was almost amusing that I was being completely ignored. When I was about to leave, a waiter came by and took my drink order . He brought me some Sancere white wine that was warm. I told him to bring me a bucket of ice to cool it down . Then I ordered the pre fixe meal that was oysters and roasted chicken . The food was actually quite good and the music was nice. I just thought the overall service was aloof and unfriendly. It could have been so much better.

After having a wonderful dinner the night before at Jamin, I think any restaurant would have a hard time topping our list, but this one didn't even come close. The waiter was busy, but the service was awful, he spent much more time with the native French speakers, and although I do speak French after seeing how rude he was off the bat, I didn't feel the need to accommodate him. The food service was slow, and while the food tasted ok, it wasn't anything to write home about. On Sunday's a lot of restaurants are closed in Paris, but there has to be something better. Save your money and appetite, in a city known for its cuisine you can find something better.

Wonderful service and a very good meal. I had the burrata for a starter and the sole for dinner with profiteroles for dessert. They have an English menu available.

I'll start with the good. The food was decent.
And now for the bad. The service was worse than terrible.
Here are all of the things that went wrong:
1) Hostess said we did not have a reservation and could not find it. I made the reservations several weeks in advance and had a written confirmation. Sure enough it was there and I pointed to it on her list.
2) Servers barely came around, even when called. Even when we tried to spend money by ordering more wine, no one would come around.
3) They screwed up our order and brought the wrong main dish out for someone in our party so they had to watch the rest of us eat.
4) They tried to overcharge us and I pointed out the error on the check where they charged us for a main dish that we never ordered
To sum it up, we felt ignored and scammed. The food was not bad, but I would never come here again, nor recommend it based on the poor service alone.

Having dined at this restaurant in previous trips to Paris, we were looking forward to seeing the renovation, experiencing the new chef's menu, and enjoy the jazz featured in the evening. However, the service was deplorable and the food was poor. The music was the only enjoyable part of our evening. Because the music starts at 8 p.m., we asked for a reservation at 7:30. We were seated promptly, and then we sat for nearly 30 minutes watching a group of waiters leaning on the bar chatting and laughing. They never raised their eyes to survey the room. When additional waiters came through from other rooms, they chuckled along with the group. The hostess, after seeing us becoming frustrated, finally coaxed a waiter over to our table. He was brusque and disgruntled, seemingly irritated that we had interrupted his chat. We said we wanted to enjoy a glass of wine before our meal and he insisted we order our food at once. He said he would time the service so we would not be rushed and would return so we could decide what additional wine we wanted with dinner. Then he disappeared. Our glasses of wine and first course arrived together, brought by a waitress. Later we finally distracted the waiter away from the bar he was leaning on and reminded him we didn't want to rush. He said the waitress had made a mistake. Then we were obviously punished for asking not to be rushed. The waiter never returned to our table throughout the evening. We had to flag down another one to ask for our food, snd when it came, it was lukewarm dry "Vendée"chicken that had obviously been held too long. We noticed as the restaurant became busy, certain tables received a lot of attention, with our waiter and others kissing and hugging some diners, while some tables were ignored. Maybe you need a membership to receive service here. I'll mention this wasn't a language issue. I speak French but the waiter insisted on English. (And I don't even think he was French). Our service ended with a different waiter who offered us a glass of champagne (which we were actually already offered when the reservation was made) but we declined and left to enjoy the rest of our evening elsewhere. P.S. tour buses stared dumping large boisterous groups off while were there. They were seated upstairs but the area is open so you hear all their noise! And it probably contributes to the slow (poor) service. Summary: Avoid at all costs, or risk having a similar experience.
