Le Relais de Venise L'Entrecôte

I had a nice experience and meal. The long line moves quickly but I recommend getting in line way before the restaurant opens. The food was delicious and the service was great. The servers are hardworking and keep the restaurant running like a well oiled machine. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

Definitely worth a visit while in London! To be honest I was a little skeptical but it really was one of the best meals while I visited the UK. We arrived about 15 mins before opening on a Friday night and waited about an hour to get seated.

There are no frills with this spot. They only do Steak Frites! All they will ask you is how you want your steak cooked. Bonus - once you finish your plate of food, they refill it for you! So you get 2 full plates of Steak Frites. Prior to the serving the steak, you also get a salad. For dessert (not included) we got an order of the Sticky Toffee Pudding and Creme Brulee - both delicious.

Don't let the long line deter you! It is absolutely worth it.

I wasn't really sure what to expect but it was one of my favorite meals in London! We got there half an hour after it opened for dinner on a Friday and waited an hour to get seated for three.

It's a straightforward experience. You get seated. You tell them how you like your meat cooked, they bring your salad, steak frites and then you can get a refill on both the meat and chips which was an unexpected surprise. We also got a crème brûlée and sticky toffee pudding to share. Everything was delicious and such a fun experience!

I had a great experience here on a rainy afternoon, I actually liked it a fair amount better than the location in Paris that I went to more recently! I did go before it went viral so did not experience the lines, I would probably wait only 20-30 minutes for a seat since the service itself is pretty fast (you never want to feel like the line was longer than the visit) but the value is great for you get!

Steaks and fries, I don't understand the hype. Steak wasn't the best quality nor was the quantity of significant serving size. I do not care for horseradish which is in the serving sauce. A second go around of serving steak and frites at the end was a nice surprise, but dining there once is enough.

This was our 2nd visit to Le Relais de Venise in London, and our 1st to the Marlyebone location, which is in a lovely area! We arrived around 6:25p before they opened at 6:30p and were met by an extremely long line (worth noting it was a Saturday). We waited a little over an hour before finally being seated. The restaurant is small and extremely crowded, but seats a lot of people due to the tables being right on top of each other. We enjoyed the standard fare and had efficient, attentive service. We were too full for a second serving, but they still offered. Highly recommend staying for dessert, which many seemed to be passing up!

I was given very high recommendations for Le Relais de Venise L'Entrecôte as I was planning my trip to London. But the one warning I was given was that this place *always* had super-long queues out the front door, so getting in would be a real exercise in patience.

Alas ... miracle of miracles ... my friend took me here late on a Thursday evening and there was absolutely NO line whatsoever! We were seated immediately. Neither of us could believe it!

The steak was tasty, as were the potatoes and the wine. I understand Le Relais de Venise L'Entrecôte is a chain of restaurants worldwide, so I'll have to try other cities to get a better comparison with the one here in London.

This place is an EXPERIENCE! If you are looking for a fun night out, look no further.

First, as many others have suggested, be sure to arrive early. There WILL be a line!

Once inside, prepare for an experience that will delight and amuse! The food is lovely. Best ever? No. But this place is about the experience! Your table is surrounded by other nearby tables (very close) so you can't help but start chatting with your table neighbors - which adds to the charm and experience.

After the dinner "surprise", be sure to enjoy a decadent dessert. I highly recommend the Sticky Toffee Pudding. It's the best one I've had in London!

Wait staff is friendly and prices are fair for a fun night out. The surrounding neighborhood adds to the charm of this place and makes for an even more enchanting evening.

Great staff, tasty food and great service. They were flexible in getting us seated and service was prompt. Helped that we asked for a desert recommendation and their suggestion (sticky toffee pudding) was amazing!
