Lippincott House

We loved this place. Hosts Mary Beth and Jack, and their lovely dog JR were really great, fun people to talk to and to pet (JR).
The house is beautiful and the set-up is elegant, spacious and also unpretentious. We found it welcoming and comfortable and not annoying and fussy like some B&Bs.
Amazing wallpaper. A working piano and guitar. A billiards room and very comfortable beds.
Lovely neighborhood to walk in. Huge rooms.
We were very happy we stayed here.

We just returned from spending two wonderful nights at the historic and beautiful Lippincott House - Marybeth was an awesome host (she even gave me a toothbrush after I had left mine at a previous BnB) - the location is first rate, just a few blocks walk to the bus stop; the house is one of the great historic houses that I have ever seen!

The rooms are awesome (we peeked into the others), the breakfast is to die for - just wonderful; also nice wine for when you come in after a day of historic sightseeing...

This is one of the best (certainly top two ever!) BnB that we have ever stayed in - highly recommend it if you love historic houses, very nice innkeeper, great food and great location...

A little pricey, but this is a big city, could have saved a few dollars by staying someplace else, but I seriously doubt if it would have been this great of an experience!

Do yourself a favor and stay at the Lippincott House if you want to really have a memorable time in Philly!
