LoudMouth Rentals

This place is spectacular! They made my rental process so easy and they were so friendly. I've worked with their competitor, Rock 'n Roll rentals, for many years now, and one of the biggest downsides to that business is the unfriendly service and the inability to reserve equipment. Why the heck can't you reserve equipment there!?

I think some of the pricing on their equipment is slightly higher than R&R, but totally worth saving the headache and securing your gear if you are renting for anything important. Also, the equipment we ran with worked so well, and they ran through all of our setup with us to make sure we had everything we needed, and even through in a couple of extra items (power extension cables) for free when they realized we would probably need a few more just in case (which we absolutely did! Would have been screwed without them.)

I will be returning to these guys for sure and you should too!

I've been DJing since 1984 and have had many many experiences over the years with sound and light fiascos. The good folks at Loudmouth offer top notch equipment, selection, pricing, and a wealth of knowledge.

They are conveniently located so I can swoop in and grab a rig then return the next day even on Sunday's. And for my bigger needs - they deliver and setup/ take down. A blessing since I'm an old man!

After I had rented the equipment they even called me back to ensure that one of the settings was correct on the mixer. They also assessed my requirements accurately..I had exactly the right size speakers and lights for the room I had.

Lights are great and cheap to rent!!! The owner there is so sweet and nice! We got there 5 minutes after they closed not knowing they closed at 6 and she was nice about it and was still able to help us. Thank you!!

Wow! They saved my party!!! My heros!! I called in a panic 2 hours before a large patio dinner party late on a Saturday afternoon. My entire outdoor sound system was blown out. The guys found a car and had a sound system installed at my home within an hour!!!! The sound system sounded amazing and I just played music from my phone. I can't tell you how incredible this company is! Great compact systems with huge sound!

I recently rented a microphone and speaker set from LoudMouth Rentals, and I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend.

My company was putting on a continuing education event for doctors, and at the last minute, the doctor requested a wireless mic. I called on a Wednesday hoping to get the set for Thursday. I knew this might be difficult as SXSW started the very next day and I'm sure they have plenty of outgoing rentals at that time. I had actually called two other rental places prior to LoudMouth, and they were both pretty rude, and essentially told me that I was "crazy" (exact words) for trying to rent right before southby.

WHen I called LoudMouth, it was refreshing, as the person I spoke with was very kind and helpful. She was able to recommend the perfect system for my needs (I have no experience in this area) at a very reasonable price. I was able to pick up on Thursday, and returned on Friday morning with no hassles. All the equipment worked perfectly. As I mentioned above, the prices were very reasonable for what I was getting.

These guys don't need my good review but oh well. If you know the size of your party / space, there is a package already set up and priced out for you. I know nothing about equipment but I was able to make a choice within a few minutes after browsing their website. Even crazier, I didn't book online. I got busy and forgot after entering my information and I received a random phone call from one of their awesome employees and they asked me if I meant to order or not. I finished the order over the phone and a friend picked up the equipment the day before my wedding. My cousin set up the equipment in a flash and voila we had music and sound. If I do have a party or something I will rent from them again. They just make this too easy.

5 stars is an insult! This place is incredible. Their professionalism, knowledge of gear, selection, & customer service surpass SIR in Nashville & LA in their heyday. One-stop shopping, from a solo/acoustic gig to festival needs. Give em a shout!

This place is incredible! Everyone I worked with at LoudMouth was so helpful, patient, and extremely patient with my lack of knowledge about anything related to equipment rental. We had to switch things around at the very last minute and LoudMouth was super accommodating. They took care of everything from set-up to sound engineering to clean-up, leaving me with one less thing to worry about during the event. If you want the absolute best experience with equipment rental in Austin, you should 100% be using LoudMouth!
