Marafina

Very good falafel. Super crunchy and tasty but DAMN it is so freaking heavy with that peanutbutter sauce. I was literally dead after that meal. The bread is fluffy and nice but don't take it back home... you'll have eat it there cause the falafel and bread is just not enjoyable anymore once you take it home. Next time I come I'd order just a falafel plate and enjoy the crunch tasty falafel itself with the sauces on the side.

I tried the Marafina Teller plate with falafel and halloumi and everything was rich in flavour and so wholesome to eat. Can't wait to go back there soon.

I'm glad that I gave Marafina a second try. The first time that I visited, I ordered the köfte platter. It was my first time ordering köfte anywhere and I didn't enjoy it. I might not like the dish in general. The second time I visited, I ordered on of my regulars: falafel with halloumi. The falafel and halloumi aren't that much better than other imbisses (fast food places) but the aubergine creme and peanut sauce are SO TASTY. Business was slow, so I got extra of both :D. I would definitely recommend trying Sudanese sandwiches if you begin to tire of tahini, garlic sauce, or yogurt sauce.

I was on my way to Ali Baba when I noticed that the falafel-halloumi sandwich was only 3 Euros. Most falafel and schwarma places will charge an extra 50 cents, if you combine two types of fillings, so 3.50 Euros total.

Marafina has a good amount of seating compared to many Falafelladen and is kept clean. It's great if you live a bit west of Boxi on or near Wühlischstr.

The best description is: amazing! I had falafel and halloumi in bread. Prepared very nicely, not too greasy, also the portions are quite good as well as the falafel/halloumi-veggies ratio. The very special thing about this place is thei peanut sauce. It's outstanding! Also the prices are low. Great place for a quick lunch or laid back dinner. Higly recommended.

My favorit point to eat near my place. Wonderfull food. Always perfect! Lovely shiny owner! I go there at least once per week.

We are travelling all the way from Oregon in the USA and are staying at a nearby hostel. I had a chicken falafel and my girlfriend had a regular falafel. They were the best falafels we have had!! We tend to eat falafels everywhere we go because they're always delicious, but this was our favorite. Nothing beats the sauce. We are for sure coming back during our short stay here in Berlin. Thank you for delicious food and making some first time travelers feel welcomed

Well, the usual Berlin Sudanese place, but really really good, maybe the best.

Best Falafel in the neighborhood, definitely. The owner is impressively nice, kind and welcoming, and you can really see he cares about your food.
Have been there a couple of times already, and definitely coming back.
