Max Hairdresser

The place is tucked away on a small sideroad. When I first went to the shop, I had to go through a back alley entrance, as sketchy as it can get! But the service here surprised me. Every time I went, the hairdressers always took their time. It's a Russian shop, and nearly always had some Russian TV channel on, but it's perfectly fine for everyone to go. I usually had to book an appoinment with them, although I never saw anyone else there at the same time... Men's haircut is £12, quite affordable for the level of service they deliver. There's no fancy extras like tea and coffee, or a chatty friendly barber, but if you want a solid, good haircut, this is a good choice.

Absoloutely rude phone service. I was asking if they offered hair braiding and she didn't give me an answer, I asked her about three times in a clear voice, kept saying 'so?' and 'Yeah' and 'Wanna make an appointment ?' in such a rude way, woman on the phone deserves the sack. Phonecall happened on 14:52 on 14th April, 2012.
