Q:
Has anyone ever brought their dog? I have two labs, not service dogs. Can they join us here? It says Pet Friendly on the yelp, but I can't find any information on their website about dogs being allowed in...
A:
Dogs are welcome. We see them all the time when we visit. Now within the train museum or buildings may be different.

We had such a great experience at The McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park this past week.
We have 2 kids under 8 and this was a fun and educational way to entertain the kids at a reasonable price.
The train ride and vintage carousel cost $3 per person. You can walk through the model railroad building and railroad cars at no charge. It was fun watching the kids faces light up with the interactive train systems.
We all enjoyed the museums and reading about the history of the railroad.
The large park also includes several different playground areas and several picnic spots.
There is a concession stand, however, bring your own food and drinks and park it outside while you tour the buildings. There are areas to leave strollers.
Both the kids and adults enjoyed everything the park had to offer.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Natalia P.Scottsdale, Vereinigte Staaten41119143916. Apr. 20242 check-ins
My son loves this park and has been going almost every weekend for almost two years. They do a great job with decorations for the holidays and always have activities.
Very excited about the upcoming splashpad and Indoor playground!
Just wish there were more trains riding around with various routes.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Joshua B.Bothell, Vereinigte Staaten442752585. Apr. 2024
We had a blast. Highlight of our trip.
I would say kids from 0 to 12 would enjoy this experience. It's cheap, fun, and a definite add to your itinerary!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 13. März 20241 check-in
What a nice park.
Just the right amount of things to do and see for a few hours. Wide open spaces to play catch and tables for a picnic with friends and family. Play structures for the kiddos. And of course the train ride and Farris wheel are fun. A train museum and rather large running miniature train exhibit. A snack bar and store.
I've been here a few times now and I like the that is clean and well maintained.
Last words...not a waste of time.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 13. März 20241 check-in
On a fun new adventure went with toddler granddaughter and family to this great Scottsdale large city park.
The family had been there recently for a children's birthday party in a reserved Ramada.
There's a great long train ride around the park and fun carousel 3$ each ride but KIDS ARE FREE!
THERES A LARGE OLD TRAIN TO
VISIT AND LARGE TRAIN STATION, playgrounds , fields , and fun .
As a former member of Tucson's Gadsden Pacific train club formerly at nw foothills mall with my children I especially enjoyed the spectacular three train layouts inside grand Stillman building .
Saturday there was a community event so Parking was very difficult . We circled the parking lot for seemed 10-15 minutes with other vehicles " like sharks "looking for a spot . You know the "drill"!
It was all worth the effort.
It's a kids train & fun local theme park for basically free except for the rides.
A local Scottsdale treasure on n Scottsdale rd .Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - 34336778822. Dez. 2023
I loved this place. I had so much fun with my children. There ages are 1, 2 and 3 years old. My children had a great time riding the train, riding the carnosol and playing on the playground.
This place is inexpensive for the kids to have a good time.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Cai K.Mars Hill, Vereinigte Staaten0220. Apr. 2024

Free entrance to the park area, a great playground, another wagon play area, wow!
Add in a carousel that costs $3 per ride, and a cool train ride for $3 a ride (that goes around the whole park and has a fun section with Christmas decorations) and you got an awesome place!
Our daughter loved it, she didn't want to leave the playground she was having so much fun. The train and carousel was also a big hit! Their gift shop had very reasonable prices and we got a conductor hat that our daughter loved wearing.
It was fairly crowded considering it was a Monday, but I can see why!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 23. Jan. 2024
This park is always busy, especially during the weekend. I could not remember what date/time of the week but we got lucky to be there when it was not busy. Nice park to walk around and look at real size trains. The highlight is mini trains in the huge model railroads. I love them! They are fantastic experiences. I like to see new buildings/landmarks in Phoenix that became part of these models.
Several years ago, we got fast pass from the City to enjoy the holiday train ride. It was fun and magical when the train rode through lots of beautiful lights along with the holiday music.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - 22. Nov. 2023
FINALLY made it to this park after driving by it all these years and we are in love.
Don't let the side of this park fool you. It might look like just a giant grass field and a tiny play area, but it's so much more. There are train rides, train museums (including the inside of a train built for presidential use), fun snacks, a great playground, and a gorgeous carousel. Everything is reasonably priced too. I can't wait to go back for some of their many holiday events that they decorate for. We missed Halloween, but I will definitely be going back for Christmas. Sell beer, and it's literally perfect.
Can't wait to go back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
