Melfort Pier & Harbour

Melfort Pier and Harbour near Oban has to be seen to be believed. We have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed.
A five star luxury complex of Swedish style chalets, apartments and houses, all clustered around, Loch Melfort, with stunning views of the Loch and surrounding area depending on which apartment you are staying in. The first time we stayed we were lucky enough to see Dolphins, which has stayed with me ever since.
Luxury and tranquility spring to mind, all the apartments etc. have every appliance you could wish for, including Swedish Sauna, some/most have Jacuzzi baths. Dishwashers, washing machines, everything is provided, toe warming Log Burning stoves, (logs provided.) Sky TV restricted channels.
Tiled underfloor heating, the list goes on.
Recently they have opened a restaurant which I have heard rave reviews about but as I have not been I cannot comment.
Not cheap to stay here but you get what you pay for in this case more, much more.
Recharge your batteries, go for walks, try the amazing Shower of Herring Restaurant near by.
Suitable for family get togethers, special occasions,Romantic interludes, or just to get out of the Rat Race.
A truly unforgettable experience.


They do have periodic special offers, but this place is so popular you need to book in advance, unless you get lucky and grab a cancellation, which are few and far between.


Enjoy this place it is wonderful, once been never forgotten.
