They have gluten free cookies and whoopie pies made in a separate designated gluten free kitchen! Unfortunately they do not have gluten free cannolis.

I wonder what percentage of the reviews under 5 Stars are from people who had to wait in long lines for Mike's super popular cannolis. Because I have to tell you. I dropped my wife off at a non peak time and drove around the block, and my wife had a box of 6 cannolis by the time I returned. Those were some delicious cannolis with great texture. All pleasure. No pain. 5 Star experience.
My favorite cannoli was the sweet, crackly-coated Florentine. It shares DNA with Florentino Cookies. If you're familiar with Italian cookies, that may be enough info. If you're not familiar with Italian Cookies, it's the flat, crunchy, nutty, round one with chocolate accents. Delicious in cannoli form. The cream filling is so good! They were all tasty.

Great place for italian pastries. Remember to bring cash as it is cash only.
I highly recommend trying the pistachio cannoli and the espresso cannoli. Eat them while they're fresh! The filling is not too sweet, and I love the crunchiness of the shell and the small chips added on each end of the cannolis. The cannolis are their specialty, so if you try anything, make sure you try at least 1 cannoli with the ricotta filling.
The service could be friendlier. The line can be long, and the shop runs like a well-oiled machine, which helps the line move along quickly. However, because the staff is trying to move quickly, they want you to get your food and get out. This is not a place for dilly-dallying or taking your sweet time. You'll have to take your pastry elsewhere.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 11. Apr. 20241 check-in
Mike's Pastry is the original cannoli spot here in Boston. There is a long line, but it goes quickly. There are a variety of cannoli flavors posted across the entire wall with various and unique options. I opted for the Pistachio, Florentine, and Oreo flavors going for $7 a pop. It's pricier at Mike's than Modern, but also the cannolis are bigger. I enjoyed all they have so much more variety of flavors, so allows for more creativity.
Overall, Mike's and Modern are both just as good. If you like variety, come here. Plus, this is the OG location for cannolis. You can't go wrong with either option. If you come to Mike's, definitely try the florentine one though. This had such a nice carmelized, crunchy texture that you gotta eat right away.Helpful 4Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 0 - 26. Old fashioned, family running bakery with old world recipes. I was there early morning to get a cannoli and beat the crowd and avoid the line. Mike's was looking really clean and staff were helpful. Pistachios cannoli looks and taste fantastic and the most important that was fresh. All and all kudos to the team that runs this place.

The doors are wide open for you to walk in and place your orders. We arrived alittle late in the day but they still had plenty of cannolis and other pastry items. We noticed so many people walking around with the white Mike's pastry boxes we knew we had to stop.

Whenever I am in Boston. I make sure that I get my cannolis from Mike's. There's usually a line, and it's cash only.

So good we came twice during our visit. The pistachio cannolis, wedding cookies, pistachio macaroons and Boston cream pie were all delicious. The flavored cannolis, lemon and amaretto, less so. Depending on the time you arrive, the place may be packed, but stick around and the lines move quickly with usually 6-7 employees working each counter.

I have been here many times - never disappoints. I took my family here after a let down meal at Trattoria II Panino to cheer everyone up. We had the Oreo and pistachio cannolis and a Boston cream pie. All for only $20! Everything was amazing as always and we all left smiling. This is the place if you want anything from a bakery, there is a reason there is always a line down the street and it is 100% worth the wait. Just remember to bring cash as they do not accept cards.

Anytime I visit Boston, I always make sure to grab a few cannoli's from here, and that will last a few days because the cannoli cream is so luxuriously rich and the portions are large. They have plenty of flavors. The espresso is my favorite. Don't sleep on their biscotti either. Buy a bunch and that will last you a full week! There's almost always a line but it moves pretty quickly. The staff aren't always the friendliest or happiest, but that might be a Boston thing. They're pretty quick with the orders which is nice.
The place is pretty simple - an open floor with counters that have multiple lines to make the process go smoothly. It's decorated with their signature blue and white. The cannoli flavors are written above behind the counters. Because of how busy it gets, you may not be able to see some of the pastry's behind the glass because of the crowd, but check out some of the pictures online to get an idea if it's something you'd like.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
