About as authentic as you will find in Frankfurt. Nice accompaniment of side dishes which is crucial for any Korean meal! The decor is nothing to write home about...this is more like a comfortable, casual place that you visit when you just want a good meal. I paid about 12 EUR for my Yukejang and while that's expensive for Korean food, it's about what you'll pay for a main dish at other places in Frankfurt.

Not the best Korean place in town, but very solid. Service is very attentive and unassuming.

Yummy seafood tofu soup! I wasn't expecting this Korean place to be standing out as above average for Frankfurt, Germany, to my surprise!
Sizable Banchan dishes.
Friendly staff!
Good fix for that Korean craving!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Megan S.Frankfurt am Main, Hessen26531595514. Sept. 2015Aktualisierter Beitrag
Why oh why?!?! This place used to be my favorite in Frankfurt for Korean food. I recently went back after a Misho dry spell for months. I was so excited to try my beloved bibimbap again as I had even began creating them at home in recent months.
I got there, ordered, and the lady who took my order looked as if someone had killed her dog that morning. She was so miserable. Fortunately, the chef was super nice.
The bibimbap came out looking very different than I was used to. I love that they use seasonal vegetables at places, so it wasn't that that bothered me. It was the fact that I paid nearly 12 Euros for no effing food. It was literally half the portion I usually get. There was no rice even hiding underneath basically. This bibimbap had cucumber, red cabbage, carrot, and just sadly, was lousy. Nothing was pickled properly giving off a powerful taste. I had to ask for loads of kimchi just to get some sort of deliciousness in my mouth right then. My boyfriend ordered a bulgogi bibimbap and was super, super disappointed also.
The chef came up to us and asked how things were and I contemplated lying, but decided to be up front and told him how disappointed we were. He profusely apologized and we went on our way (after paying shit loads for this meal).
I would love to say that I'd go back and give another chance, but Frankfurt has too much to offer for me to ever willingly waste away 30+ Euros on lousy food again.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 010. Dez. 2014Vorheriger BeitragI have to admit that when I am reviewing Misho, I am doing it from a 'Korean food in Germany' standpoint. I am from the Korean food capital of the United States and I know some damn good Korean food.
With that being said, this place is pretty dang good.
I have been fortunate enough to go here twice despite it being across town from where I am residing. Sometimes a girl just needs a good bibimbap. Or bulgogi. And this place certainly delivers on both. The service is good, they offer a Korean beer to accompany the meal (Hite), and the food is very tasty.
My only complaint is that the two-seater tables are a tad too small for two diners. The amount of banchan that accompany the bulgogi is awesome, but it all barely fits on the table! I guess too much food is never really a bad thing, but can be overwhelming with so many dishes on the table.
I have stuck with the same thing both times here (beef bulgogi and bibimbap), but now that I'm confident that their entire menu is delicious, I will certainly branch out a bit next time.
If you're looking for good Korean food in the Frankfurt area, this is the place to check out!
****Side note: If you order bulgogi with another person, please do know that the price on the menu is for one person only.
