Wir können Ihnen zwar nicht Ihre Kindheit zurückbringen, aber wir können Ihnen zeigen, wie Märchen schmecken.In der MokkaTeeria, mitten im Herzen von Bornheim, zelebrieren wir den Mokka, so wie ihn Sindbad vor vielen hundert Jahren vermutlich getrunken hätte. In einem heißen Bett aus feinstem Quarzsand bereiten wir Ihren Mokka zu, von Hand. Mit unserer edlen Mokka-Bohne, dem traditionellen Kupferkännchen (Ibrik genannt), einem Kochlöffel und viel Gefühl. Handmade sind aber nicht nur unser Mokka Oriental und die weiteren Mokka-Variationen wie z. B. Mokka Latte oder Mokka Chino, sondern auch unsere süßen Versuchungen. Kuchen, Torten, Orient Sweets. Nehmen Sie sich die Zeit zum träumen. Lassen Sie sich in eine neue Märchenwelt entführen, in der Farben, Formen und Geschmäcker aus Orient und Okzident zu einer fast vergessenen Kaffeekultur verschmelzen...

Emilia S.Frankfurt am Main, Hessen1231314. Mai 2017I live in the neighborhood and have always wandered why this place is always so packed on weekends. After being there, I can say it probably has to do with their rich selection of decadent cakes and sweets, or the large number of tea options, or their mokkas, which do look pretty tasty. In addition, their seats are cozy and the service is friendly and nice. I will be back and recommend it if you are in the area and looking for a warm tea and some sweets, but not feeling like going for the 100th time to wackers (mainly for coffee) or baguette Jeanette (for bread/pastries). Btw, I did pay with card.

MokkaTeeria has a great feel to it, but the overall experience could be better.
The Bad?
They were out of the Schafskäseröllchen
Because they were out of the Röllchen, I had to get something else which wasn't very good
They played loud, cheesy, English music (obviously a taste thing)
The Neutral?
You can only pay with cash
The Good?
It has a really cozy seating area in the back
It has outdoor seating for good weather
They seem to make great coffee (I didn't have any)
They have a long list of teas - the LazyDaze (Early Grey) was good
The Baklava was also good, then again, I like Baklava

I got the suß one (sweet), and as a black coffee drinker, I found it to be so pleasantly and subtly sweet, in a way that complimented the nuttiness of the espresso! Not to mention, the presentation is divine. Service is great as well :) great atmosphere to hang out too!!
