My Gym - Potomac

We had our 6 year-old son's birthday party here and it was perfection! We decided to book the party here since we had attended parties here in the past and I felt like the kids always had fun, it felt more intimate and offered more bonding amongst the kiddos (vs. bigger venues), and it was stress-free for the parents hosting and the parents attending. My son's party met and even exceeded my expectations. The party hosts had great energy and my son, and the other kids, had fun and were smiling a lot. They did many little things throughout the party to make my son feel special. The party hosts took care of everything so all I had to do was roll up with the cupcakes and gift bags. They took care of the rest. It can be expensive compared to other options but for us, it was worth it.

My daughter came here for a birthday party and had a blast! I had my doubts about how the kids would entertained because the space is small, but the hosts were so attentive and imaginative with different games. After the kids did free play, they played games with nerf bats. They then had a bubble machine go off and the kids went wild. My favorite part was the zipline! Each kid had a supervised turn to zip across the room. So again it's a bit on the small side but the staff does a really good job to make the experience exciting and memorable for the kids!

My Gym is a great weekly activity for the 2 and 4 year old I nanny. Each session starts and ends with a circle time (great for school prep), then the kids get free range of the gym, in addition to agility courses and other activities set up by the instructors. Sessions are 45 min, which I feel is an appropriate amount of time. Adults are required join. It's not the type of place where you can sit back and watch your child play (for the most part) - you'll have to be ready to keep them engaged and help them figure out the equipment. Our instructor is Maria and she's so great! She's fun and creative and my kids really enjoy circle time with her. She works hard to come up with activities for the kids - if only they had a longer attention span and appreciate her effort as much as I do! Oh well, kids will be kids.

Covid safety: It's been clean and organized, and protocols are following strictly whenever I go. Only 4 kids are allowed in each class, so I haven't been worried about people in our space. Highly recommended if you feel uneasy about taking your kids in public indoor spaces.

I had my kids 5th birthday there this past summer and the staff and team did a great job! They took care of all the planning and we just showed up. Highly recommend! Everyone had a blast.

First, I dont have children. Second, just one second before you label me creepy. It was my nieces birthday which put me at the small children's playhouse called "My Gym." This place is fairly compact. About the size of a kitchen on the real housewives of X State, theres a small ball pit, a small trampoline, a couple slides, some monkey bars etc.

So this place being small- the workers really have to be on point and use their imagination- and boy did they.

Led by a gentlemen who could easily grab a career on a PBS kids, my nieces birthday was a smash. This place is really suited for 2-4/5 year olds. Yes a fairly narrow spectrum, but a fairly hard age to throw a party for. The kids were having a ball and throwing a bunch of them to boot. All assisted by the wonderful energetic instructor.

Not to mention his on point playlist for todays events. As the kids all, either, threw balls at each other or the "grown-ups" or at the girls, or at the gym instructor- the song "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" by Pat Benetar was playing. Totes adorbs. Other classic hits included Billy Idol and of course your all-time Disney favorites: Bibbiti Bobbity Boo ( sp?) , Under The Sea, and more!

The activities included a giant cylindrical gym toy being rolled over the kids to "make cookies" and the same large gym toy being used as a giant straddling swing. The kids were enthralled by the direction, the fun, and creative games. If you have kids this age, this place is a no brainer for a birthday party. In 1 and a half hours the instructors managed to play several games, feed them pizza and cake, and put them all through a mini zipline. Obviously, my niece "the Birthday princess" got to go twice- as her guests (aka the other kids) stared in awww and wished that it was their birthday party at "My Gym"

Whoever that gentlemen is who led this party. I wanna say they were calling him "Mr. Gogarty?", this guy deserves a raise.

my one year old William looks forward to his gym class every week! He adores his teacher Nate, who has high energy and compassion for all children and absolutely makes our experience at mygym. Hes a gem, one of a kind teacher!

My daughter regularly attends to my gym on Saturday. The staff is great, friendly, polite and always keep the gym clean. We also recently celebrated her second birthday there and it was the best decision. The birthday was very organized, clean, the staff was helpful and fun. My daughter felt very special. She kept singing happy birthday on the way back home :) The kids that attended were from 20 months to 5 years and they all had fun. The adults also had a great time. I loved having a child-centered party :)

Moraima, Rodrigo and Sofia

This place is excellent! My daughter has been coming here for over a year and still absolutely loves it! Ms. Jordan and Mr. Gordy are so great, warm, and engaging! They always put out new creative obstacle courses. My daughter loves to climb and is full of energy and she enjoys every minute of it.

We love mygym. I am constantly looking for ways to socialize my toddler, while also keeping safety and sanitation a priority. Mygym Potomac makes this all possible for us. I see them cleaning toys, equipment, balls, and encouraging hand washing or sanitizer before and after entering the gym. We have been going for months and my son enjoys it. Not to mention, the instructors are welcoming, friendly and always engaged with the kiddos- even when it's open gym without structure. They are the best and know so many kiddos by name. We had a My Gym birthday party for my 3 year old and it was amazing! Everyone had a great time, and the kids' ages ranged from 7 to 1 years old. Miss Tony and Jen were fabulous!
