Came across this place when arriving in Salzburg and the nice curb appeal brought us in. The atmosphere of the resturant was very groovy and ecentric. As well as, very clean. However the food was not great.. at all. They were plated very well but the chili was acidic and a lot of sour cream, which made the bowl gooey. The Gado gado sauce, which we thought was peanut sauce, was a weird and sweet consistency. We added a plethora of spices and still it did not change much. In addition, our food was sitting at the counter for awhile because we were told they would call our number, so it was also a little cold. However the water was free, which is something rare for europe. Personally I would not return.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 16. Aug. 2017
Traveling in Austria where food can be pricey, my friend and I were glad to find budget-friendly & relatively healthy my Indigo! We discovered it in a pamphlet on a bulletin board in a hostel that we stayed in.
A "build your own" kind of place, you are able to custom order curries and salads. We ate here twice- I had a spicy peanut curry with rice and veggies one day and a salad with lots of bean, seed, and nut fixins another day. Both were very filling!
I saw at least two locations of my Indigo- both near the center of Salzburg. One has dine-in seating, the other does not.
As in America, getting avocado is extra- but it is a big portion, so its worth the extra $ if you're on the fence ;)
Definitely a great option for travelers on a budget looking for healthy food options!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Starr N.Boca Raton, Vereinigte Staaten10513530. Juli 2019
Got off the bus from the train station and saw this cute place immediately!
Had the red Thai chicken curry bowl and it was soooo yummy!
Highly recommend coming here for a quick hot meal that will leave you full.
Bowls are big enough to split too!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jodi S.Pacific Palisades, Vereinigte Staaten94114. Dez. 2019
This was a pleasant surprise in Austria! If yOu are looking for healthy and hearty bowls, this is the place. They also have a fresh salad bar and sushi to go. The staff is friendly, and the food delicious. It was a great experience and I wish we found it sooner! Highly recommend for a good meal that is healthy, but filling, and perfect in the cold. The red curry chicken bowl was awesome!

Such an awesome place. Food was delicious, and so many versatile options! I was able to mix and match dishes that don't normally go together - but tasted so yummy. Also - great for travelers who need a break from Austrian food. And such nice staff!!

Basically a soup and rice place. You order a bowl of soup of the flavor of your choice, and they dump a bowl of rice in it. The day that we went there, they had tomato and herbs, thai lemon grass root, some type of curry, and chilli. I had the thai lemon grass root with white rice. The soup did not taste anything like lemon grass. It was actually kind of bitter and herbal tasting. Kind of not my thing. You can also get extra toppings such as alpha alpha sprouts, cilantro, corn, etc for extra charge.

A delightful and affordable vegetarian experience! Be adventurous in their daily special, cover it in your favorite sauce and then spoil yourself with an avocado. Free wifi and the bowl (with avocado) and drink was under 10€. Get excited.

This was my first time at an My Indigo chain restaurant.
Therefore we quickly learnt the self service procedure.
The food here was good, not a huge section to choice from, but all very good.
The price was also very good, not so expensive.
however for me the best thing about this place was the atmosphere, it was really nicely decorated and designed very well to fit a lot of people in there, but yet still give a private feeling when dinning here.
Very well done.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Kenny N.Denver, Vereinigte Staaten231113560320. März 2013
My Salzburg host listed My Indigo as a goto food place. She described as fast, good, and cheap. When I finally wore myself out from trekking around Salzburg's amazing sights, I returned to the river's edge for My Indigo. Currently, there is construction here, but it's right next to a major bridge and bus stop.
My Indigo is a small space and is inviting with its cool colors and freshly displayed food. They offer several choices including curries and pastas. You can add your proteins and each proteins come with two choices. For example, my chicken curry came with either aubergine or veggies. I chose veggies and my order was promptly filled and I wandered upstairs with my tray. They have downstairs seating space, but it was crowded. So turn around and go upstairs. Choose to eat overlooking the incoming customers or look at a wall and focus on your food. You'll be satisfied with the tasty food and good prices.
My curry had a flavorful odor. I first tasted the rice, curious if it could stand on its own. It could. The veggies were fresh, the tomato particularly acidic (good stuff), and the curry had great spice. I will probably return for more food tomorrow. Sightseeing fuel!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
