Nothing Australian about this place other than the fact that it has a few Aussie signs around the place and serves Fosters which is only drunk outside of Australia. It is merely an extension of the Irish pub with a different theme. I know it gets a lot of tourists and locals who are dreaming of visiting Australia or think they can have the Australian feeling and this place has none of that :-(
I avoid Australian pubs overseas for a reason and this just confirmed it for me once again :-)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 604824209920. März 2016
Bar next door to the Irish Pub. This one is much more low key. It gets crazy on the other side, so some new Munich acquaintances who invited me to hang out in the area with them hauled us over to get some breathing room here. Apparently it's Australian-themed, though other than some details of decor I didn't quite get the vibe. The drink list was standard, got a Helles beer and a corner near the bar to chat a bit.

I was laughing that I found this kitchy drinking den in the middle of Munich... cheesy, very touristy and clean it still was a welcomed sigh for a home sick aussie.
rubbish selection of beers unfortunately it's a shame they don't sell boags or squires the bst in a bottle being carlton- they misguidedly sell fosters here too...(ARGH!!! no Aussies actually drink this toilet water)
The food is aussie animal based but certainly not aussie pub food- more like 'lets cook our native animals and feed them to tourists'
I imagine this place will be fun on the 26 of Jan for Australia day and all other aussie public holidays - also a great alternative place to watch the rugby, especially the tri-nations- and unlike British or Irish pubs you won't have to compete with soccer for screens- Also it shows AFL!
I'm giving it 4 stars for feeling like a little piece of homeHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (Spiess…)Landshut, Bayern057. März 2011

I think this was the sixth place I visited on my last night in Munich, burning through some extra euros I had in my pocket before I left to go home the next day. Small little bar, themed Australian. It was packed, and hard to find a seat on a Saturday night. Make a friend and get a seat! Big tvs had the soccer match on. I'd definitely go back.

very busy pretty much all the time but good barstaff and a good atmosphere; this and killians next door are haunts for many in the expat community but natives also seem to like the place, always easy to get talking to people here.
