Pampurred Pets

Not bad, can be a bit expensive in there though, but good advice given when buying a pet, and good range of different housing.

This is not the largest pet shop but has a good range of pet products including toys, hutches, leads and food. The pick and mix dog treats and bird food is a good idea as I do not like to buy big packs so prefer choosing my own. They also have livestock in the shop which look healthy and well cared for. The staff are ok but maybe they are more animal lovers than people lovers? I find the prices competitive and I like coming to this shop as it is in the middle of Bitterne so can do other shopping at the same time.

Not a very large pet shop, but good selection of food and equipment for pets at a reasonable cost. Far more choice than the local supermarket. It's also fairly easy to find things, as it's nicely laid out. For those actually looking for pets, they don't seem to have too many, mainly rabbits and birds which are at the back of the shop and not to many of those to be honest. Personally I don't like seeing birds in cages anyway so that doesn't bother me too much, if you're looking for a pet such as a guinea pig, you might want to go somewhere bigger.
