We have very high standards for Persian food (since my husband is Persian), and both of us loved this place. It's one of the best Persian restaurants we've been to. The ghormeh sabzi is just like grandma makes it and the kabobs and rice were cooked perfectly. The servings are huge, but you can't stop eating because they are sooo good. Anyone who hasn't had authentic Persian food and wants to experience it needs to try this place. Anyone who is looking for home cooking should try this place. The people were so warm and attentive as well. Usually that's not the case when the restaurant is packed.

I have visited this place 6-7 times over the past 3 years and almost every time I come to Vienna for business. I am so grateful that this wonderfully ran Persian restaurant is here and thriving on 30+ years of success. The place is always busy, no matter which week night. So be sure to call ahead. The seating is tight, the decor is unique for an European taste, but where they are 5-star is why you go here the first place. The food quality, taste, and variety. The starter dishes, fresh Sabzi (greens), lavash naan, and variety of appetizers are very good. Then all the kabob dishes are also prepared well. The service is prompt, and professional courteous. I live near LA, with almost 1M Persian- Americans and 100's of Persian Restaurants. This place would be a good competition for most of those established in the LA area. Keep it up Pars, and I will see you next time! The picture here is from my last stop, last week, I tried their unique version of joojeh-Kabob, "chicken with bone" and a side koobideh kabob. I eat it all!!

Fabulous meal all the way from the pickled garlic to the hummus to the kebab and Shiraz salad. Perhaps the best Iranian restaurant in Vienna.

Such delicious Persian food!
I was amazed by the quality of this restaurant: the luxurious decor, the effective and friendly staff, their cuisine full of flavors and style... and for a fair price too!
No wonder that the Pars attracts such an eclectic crowd of customers: group of friends, young couple on their first date, family members, respectable upper-class old couple...
To be warmly recommended!...Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 024. Aug. 2013Vorheriger BeitragThis Persian restaurant blew my mind!
It isn't in the nicest area in Vienna but once you entered you'll be surprised how beautiful and comfy it is with all those wonderful carpets, paintings and golden décor...
The efficient and smiling staff will help you feel welcome and enjoy your time there.
As for the food: it tastes amazing!...
Full of flavors, nicely presented and served in very generous portions for the meat dishes (the vegetarian ones are much smaller though...).
It is so tasty it's no surprise they have very regular consumers, from every possible backgrounds: entire families, group of friends, newly in loved or very old couples...
And it has excellent value for money!
I simply liked this place very, very much. - Puria F.Stockholm, Schweden131107812. Sept. 2013
Pars is probably the best Persian Restaurant in Vienna. But to be honest there aren't that many to chose from in Vienna to start with. What is however impressing, having visited many Persian restaurants in Europe, is the culturally accurate décor and ambiance at Pars that makes your visit an excellent experience.
Honestly among my small group of family and friends that visited Pars the opinions differs a lot. However one thing we all agreed on is the excellence and welcoming ambiance the décor grants along with the attentive and over-friendly staff.
As far as the taste goes I for one think I have had better; the rice not fluffy enough nor is the meat "melt in your mouth" or "fall off the bone" tender. Don't get me wrong it is not bad, it is just not as good as one comes to expect having been provided with such surrounding visual stimuli.
Value wise Pars is a great place to visit offering great and tasty deals in a pretty expensive city to dine at. In my mind the stews at Pars are however what offers the best value and quality as well as a better way to learn more about the daily Persian cuisine.
Things that could be better: English menu, not everyone knows how to speak Farsi or German and Vienna is after all a touristy city. Also We found the dugh (Persian yoghurt drink) to be ridiculously expensive when it is meant to be an affordable folksy refreshment. By the way it is impossible to find parking in near vicinity of Pars; do NOT drive to Pars!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Wadih M.Wien, Österreich113117. Aug. 2014
My first advice if you want to go there, don't take your car... Parking is annoying.
Good! Now that you made it, prepare yourself to a delicious Persian cuisine. The mezze is exceptionally good. I also really enjoyed the pomegranate juice and the Ayran (to get a better Persian experience with your meal). The freshly hot baked basket of bread is a nice bonus and the saffron rice with the mixed grilled meat platter is heavenly.
communication might be a bit hampered if you don't speak German (or Persian) but you'll manage as the waiters are real friendly.
The atmosphere of the place is quite friendly, not too fancy not too tacky... Cuts a nice balance to make you feel cozy while having he vibe that you are indeed in an Iranian place. The wonderful silk carpets decorating the walls have their charm too.
Overall a great experience and a recommended place to go out of your way for to have a taste of Persia.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Kelsey B.Port St. Lucie, Vereinigte Staaten82161125. Juli 2019
Amazing food! Ordered the chicken kabobs and they were delicious. If you're a tea drink you MUST try the Persian tea. It was amazing. For dessert don't pass up the baklava! Everything was perfect and the service was spectacular.

A group of us ate here last night.
Service was friendly and efficient.
Atmosphere - very attractive decor.
Food: well presented and very good quality. The Dolmades are the best we (husband and I) have ever eaten. The Hummus is delicious. The kebabs are excellent and are served with rice, a chile pepper and tomato (grilled) as well as a fresh mixed salad.
The portions are generous. Unfortunately I didn't try a dessert.
I know I have to return soon to make up for this.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
