Pets at home is a pet supplies 'superstore' that has everything your pet may need!


From Cat toys to hamster chews, if you need something for your pet, you're going to be able to get it for a reasonable price at pets at home.


They also sell live stock, including rabbits, guinea pigs, various rodent eg hamsters, gerbils and sometimes rats/degu's.


I don't like to see animals sold in this kind of evironment, but they seem to be well cared for.


They have also added an small animal adoption centre which is a nice touch! you can adopt a animal for a small volentary fee.

Good for all round pet supplies however disappointing in terms of the new aquatics centre.


I purchased some tropical fish from the Pets at Home store after it had undergone a refurbishment program and opened a brand new aquarium centre.


The fish were introduced to a stable aquarium. Unfortuantely a disease was also introduced leadign to me losing a number of my fish including all but 1 of the new ones. I returned to the store and found that many of the display tanks were showing signs of disease and some had dead fish floating in them. There is no excuse for selling dieseased fish at is easy ot treat them, especially in a pet store that has all of the treatments required at their disposal.

the reason we come here is just to see what parrot things there are, and its limited, they only stock seed diet mixes and toys are expensive and not they ones mine would play with
however if you have a dog, cat, hamster, rabbit etc then its a little haven for all there needs
and as for the fish?? its like 50/50 you get 2 on the offer price and 1 normally dies, so its like the gold fish you win at the fair, they do have a trplacement fish policy that last 7 days, but is it worth the petrol money to go an claim for the fish???
but the place always looks clean and animals cared for, or at least in a clean enviroment, the staff seem knowlegable on the animals needs and will stick to store policy on animal quarentine, before a sale can be made

Pets At Home sell animals such as fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc. They also sell pet food, and accsessories such as hamster cages, dog leads, and much more. It's a really big store with two floors and a wide range of items and it's quite well laid out so things are easy to find.
