Great restaurant with a long tradition (it opened its doors in the 1940s! ) ; simple but very tasty food. We ordered Caprese
Salad and 2 spaghetti a la carbonara and really enjoyed everything! The service was also very good .

food is below average for Italian standards. you can find restaurants way cheaper for much better quality. the service could be better

We dined here twice during our 3 day trip! The seafood pasta tasted very fresh and it was extremely delicious. I also tried the pizza and it was cooked perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive. If I'm in Milan again, I'd come again for the seafood pasta.

I was in Milan last week for 4 days after 5 days in Paris.

What can I say about this gem of a restaurant?!

Kid friendly, amazing pizza, fresh ingredients, great service! Our first visit we ordered the veal milanese, spaghetti vongole & ravioli for our kids and antipasto to start. Everything was fresh, delicious and the servings were huge! We tried 2 other restaurants in the 4 days were were in Milano and kept going back to Sabatini's for pizza etc. on a daily basis. We were treated very well and really enjoyed the experience. Dessert was great too and everything is made fresh daily. I will definitely go back next time I am in Milan.

The place was recommended by our hotel. We went back and told the concierge not to recommend the place again.

This was my first meal in Milan, but it was a major disappointment. We came around 6pm and my friend wanted pizza, but the guy said we can't have pizza until after 7. I ended up ordering Milanese risotto which he repeated it back to me. After waiting a while, the waiter brought out ravioli...He took it back in after we told him. I think I should've kept the ravioli. I never had risotto so undercooked. I felt like I was a bird eating hard grains. I don't know how Milanese style is supposed to be exactly but I didn't taste the saffron and it tasted like mac and cheese but with hard rice instead of macaroni shells. It was super disappointing so avoid it if you can. The gnocchi my friend ordered was average. Nothing spectacular here from what we tried.

Service is horrible. Food is mediocre to bad. Pizzas did not have the Italian quality I expected. Margherita pizza was like plain tomato sauce and mozarella w/o any taste. Boxed pastas from Walmart taste better when I cook at home. But more important, service was just that horrible. Our server gave us bread stick appetizer and didn't even bother to take it from our table while we were eating. He didn't check on us while eating to make sure we're ok. I understand that expectations of dining is different in America from other countries, but dining experience surely also includes friendly service and interaction w/ customers for people to enjoy their food. Idk if our server is racist as well or just plain rude, but he was also very rude to the other Asian couple beside us who looked very unhappy while eating. The server picked up their plates and utensils after eating, and one of the forks fell on the floor. He kicked it so hard that everyone turned their heads to see what the noise was about. It was a total turn off. But he was laughing and interacting with other Italian customers.

Overall, will definitely not recommend this place. Pls eat somewhere else and save your money. If I can give it a zero rating, I would.

We've tried this great restaurant four times now and each time the quality is very high compared to the medium price level. Try their self service antipasti plate, specially the sea food. Excellent.

Finally, if you care for a simple pizza meal - this is the place to go. Simply som of the best pizza's we've tasted in Italy - or other European countries for that matter.

The staff is service oriented, has humor and very professional. Actually the same persons each year which is a good sign.

This was our first meal in Milan. The wine was fantastic while the food and service were only okay. The ambiance could definitely be better if they removed their fluorescent lights, it gives it more of a cafeteria vibe. Overall I would say this place was fairly average.

Looked nice and welcoming from outside. Waiter friendly and patient while we decided what to eat. Seafood mixed grill was nice, best to order a side with it thou, partners shrimp & asparagus risotto was lovely too. Would recommend to anyone abit nervous to venture further off the main road.
