I wish I could give negative stars. Avoid this company at all costs!! Or just throw a couple of hundred dollars out the window. That would be less headache than dealing with Robert and Plaza Auto Transport. Once they get your deposit, their customer service goes downhill. I've been attempting to contact Robert for six weeks. I've tried every phone number and email address listed on their website. To add to it, they charged my credit card twice and I am now having to dispute charges with my bank. Bottom line is, they charged me a deposit for services that they never provided. My car hasn't moved an inch, and they are not responding. Very unprofessional company. Find a reputable one that wants your business.
Update: 12/6/2015 - even after disputing charges with my bank, and getting the charges reversed, this scam of a company charged my card again this morning. Not recommended!
Once I gave Robert my credit card #, no call backs. I have tried 11 times today alone, Monday. No response about not picking up the vehicle as promised. Poor customer service.
I can't even get a response to know if they are coming and if not how to get a refund.

Horrible people answering their phones(CHRIS). Worst attitudes, threatening demeanor, vulgar language, thinking they can tell us how/what to do.
First, we contacted them about transporting our car. After they took our deposit payment, they went M.I.A. for days and days. After cancelling their 'deposit' payment through our bank, they called back multiple times TELLING US that they ARE shipping our car after we told them they werent, that they are sending a driver even though we told them we are not using their company. When I called back after the last threatening phone call, they wont answer. 'Surprise!!'

I needed to ship my Dad's inoperable old work truck from CA to MO to have it restored, so like most people I posted on UShip. I had over 25 brokers quoting prices from $750-$1650 to ship the vehicle. I searched the Better Business Bureau, Transport Reviews, Google, and Yelp. This easily narrowed down my choices. I HIGHLY recommend doing this before shipping.
Roger from Plaza was one of the few that made the cut. He was honest about the season (yes, there is a seasonal price to shipping vehicles). He told me that he does not do "low ball" brokering to get the sale. He is more interested in having reliable shippers who pick up as they promise and ensuring it is a final price (not a nickel more at delivery) and keeping the customer happy.
Roger was upfront, honest, and his shipper was able to pick up within a few hours of placing the order. There was the $100 broker fee paid AFTER the driver was secured and on his way to get my vehicle and the rest was paid to the driver upon delivery. Quite frankly, it was worry free...to my surprise.

I spoke with Robert of Plaza Auto Transport to move my vehicle across the country. My money was taken and I filled out a form to have my car moved. I was told that they would move my car on June 10th. As of the start of the week, I still had not heard from the company or the car collection people. I contacted Plaza Auto Transport using their "866" number, which, after many failed options, led me back to Robert. Robert informed me that I would hear from the drivers of my vehicle by "Thursday evening" and that I should wait for their call. As of Thursday, I still had not received a call.
On Friday morning, I attempted to call the company 14 times in a span from 7:00 AM MST to 8:45 AM MST, all of which led my call to a voicemail. When I arrived home, I asked my fiancee to call using her cell phone. After a single call, Robert was easily reached. He informed me that he would be contacting the driver, but provided no additional information as to when I would hear from them. He instructed me to "go about my business for the day" and "do not wait for them." That call occurred at 8:59 AM MST. At approximately 5:00 PM MST, I still had not heard back from the driver or Plaza Auto Transport. I attempted to call the company again using the "866" number. Each option selected, even waiting to speak to the "next available representative" leads to me a ringtone for two rings followed by "your call has been forwarded to an automatic voice messaging system." I then attempted to use my fiancee's phone, which worked earlier, but received the same service.
I am now in the process of contacting my bank to charge the $150.00 back from the company as no services were rendered. Furthermore, should the company attempt to tell me that services were, in fact, rendered without my knowledge, this lends itself further to the absolutely unprofessional behavior of this company.

NEVER RECEIVED REFUND!!!!
1.Vehicle scheduled to get picked up on June 16, I receive a call from the driver in May to retrieve my vehicle.
2.NO ONE was answering my calls. I left MANY voicemails and received a return call after lunch when all this drama started at 8 am. This left me with a questionable impression of this company.I was reassured I would have a driver for my June 16 vehicle pick up
3.They did not initiate contact prior to pick up on June 16. I had to call to get an update and was reassured I had a driver.
4.June 16 came and NO ONE CAME TO PICK UP MY VEHICLE. Again, I had to initiate contact to get status update by leaving voicemails once again. The driver SUPPOSEDLY had a mechanical breakdown and they tried to sell me this story.
5.I gave them an additional day to pick up on June 17 and they still could not find a driver. No back up plan was ever created. They suggested I leave my keys in the car or with a neighbor.

Buyer Beware...Do not Use Plaza Auto Transport......they are Scam Artists...when they take your deposit you will never hear from them again. I attempted to use them for a cross country trip. The day of scheduled pick up, no response.....then a week later you will here some story about a hospitalization.....this same story was used a year ago when my husband transported his car with them.....we gave them the benefit of doubt at that time....but now we realize it's a scam...I'm still waiting for my refund of my deposit...

If you are smart, never ship with them. Highly non-professional. They assigned some shady transport company called "Level Storage Corp". The driver damaged the car exhaust system while loading the car (the car wasn't laoded if front of us for reason that the big vehicle cannot enter our street). After delivery, I contacted Plaza Auto Transport for insurance claim for the damage, they just waived their hands. They said it is none of their job. They were happy with the broker fees that they earned ($150). I have to spend $500 from my pocket to get the car repaired and running.

We had a horrible experience with this company! We set things up a week ahead of time and they said they would be in contact us when they found a driver to transport our car. We never heard back from them for nearly a week, and when we called they said they were still looking and would get back to us the next day. We never heard from them the following day, so we called and received the same answer. We asked on multiple occasions for them to run the price by us before booking our transport. We found out the price when the transport company called us to arrange pick up the next day with a significantly higher price than was quoted. We never were called or emailed to finalize the offer by Plaza Auto until we called to double check on things. Our vehicle was delivered four days later than our latest drop off date requested, and we gave a week for pick up options. Dispatch staff were disrespectful, unprofessional, rude, and awful after our car was picked up. It made it very clear that they were only nice till they got the pick up, and afterwards were only in it for the money and could care less how they treat you. They were the only transport company that got back to us quickly for a quote, but the experience was NOT worth the convenience. I would NEVER refer someone to this company and will NEVER use their services again.

Took my money, promised a pickup, then never answered my calls. I hired someone else, called to get my deposit back, and they claimed "oh, it fell through the cracks, that never happens, sorry". They said they would refund my money. Over a month later, and they still haven't. I'll have to call my bank and get them to nullify the charge.
