As a person that lives in the Mediterranean and enjoys at the very best fish restaurants i can confidently that the place has the most incredible food. You would not be able to find a comparable seafood restaurant anywhere close! No meal had any faults. Bravo

Seabass was incredible. Ofc like any fine food res. The meal was not huge. I recommend ordering two appetizers for the table.

Best fish in town... Since it's Cologne, not South coast of France for instance, or Catalonia, may be they have not bad fish. But definitely not the best.
Situated not in the very center, not touristic.
Ambience not very traditional: there is an open kitchen right there and a bar right around. So all that they cook you can see and smell too.
Locals and regulars go there as we noticed after all.
They have oysters, few species, but pretty expensive. 5.50 Euros for a piece?! Isn't that a little steep?!
Homemade Foie Gras for appetizer or Tataki of Swordfish. Sashimi variation - 36 Euros... It's just a small appetizer...
As main courses we took - Grilled Scallops with sweetbread - 45 Euros. And Filet of Atlantic Turbot with Porcini mushrooms. That was good, except for that was not a Turbot in there. I guess they substituted Turbot on the Sea Bass, hoping that nobody would notice this trick. But not me. I know the taste of Turbot, that's my favorite fish, and not any sauce or side can cover this creamy, buttery very distinguished taste. We didn't say anything not to argue and abuse, that was a romantic dinner and I was not in the mood to sort things out. But eventually we had to... I'll describe this in the end better.
Desserts all very fruity and there are actually only three of them. Pear and hazelnut, wild berries and buttermilk, and some chocolate symphony. I wouldn't recommend any. There is a cheese selection - but cheese selection in Germany... pretty dubious choice.
They have also a menu: 3 courses for 65 Euros, 4 courses for 75. Since it's a ready set, we didn't choose it and ordered a la cart.
For those who prefer meat - there is only one option of the main course - U.S. Rumpsteak for 58 Euros.
The wine list looks pretty original: next to every position they put a bottle label, so the page fits only 4 names, and although the choice is not that great, the cart looks pretty impressive and valid. The wines are mainly from Germany and France, Burgundy is represented strongly. Prices are reasonable, quite good choice of decent wines in the price range of 40-60 €.
And as for the incident and the serve here by the way: they don't have a cloakroom and as you come they just put your coat on the hangers at the entrance. All of them together in a pile. So, some lady took my coat instead of hers and left. That's even in spite of that I had a scarf put in my sleeve, meaning that it was my coat, just in case. So, she took out the scarf, put on my coat and left. Must be pretty drunk to do such thing. I love my clothes a lot and didn't want to trade this way, you know. So, when I didn't see my coat as we were about to leave, I asked the stuff where was it. So, fortunately for me, she was a regular and they could call her. But, we had to wait for 45 minutes there for a driver to come back and bring back my coat. And it was late, we were last to leave, they were about to close and I wanted to go back to the hotel. So, I wanted to take her coat as a guarantee that I'll get mine back and ask them to deliver mine at our hotel then I would return hers in exchange. What did they do?! They took away from me her coat and hid it. Can you imagine that?! So we were sitting there waiting and nobody even offered us a bottle of wine as a compliment for that mistake, after dinner drink at least or a cab ride back to the hotel. How can you call attitude like that?! It was their fault and our inconvenience. Just an apology isn't enough in this situation, don't you think?! After this I wouldn't say anything good about this place at all. The relation to the new customers is just swinish, pardon my German, hoggish, measly and not to mention not proficient at all. That's sad and pathetic!

I ordered a salad and the fish soup. The salad was okay but the soup was awful and salty. I asked to see the menu to get something else but no one helped me so I decided to share my partners dinner plate. He ordered the swordfish which was pretty good. At the end of dinner they wouldn't take the soup (which was simply salty water with pieces of fish) off of the bill for 20 euro. Bad business and bad hospitality.
