So ... lets start that I am not a vegan or vegetarian .....

But there is plenty of selection here ...

We started with a pizza that was actually very good .... I made the mistake of getting the ravioli ..... it was bland with no flavor ... but my mom ordered the lasagna ... and I had a taste and it was amazing ... sister had cheese/spinach balls with pesto and that was good ... For dessert we ordered a chocolate cake ... and it was more of a brownie ... and it was just plain .. not really good.

The service was nice, everyone spoke English and menus are also available in English ...

Location was easy to find ... restaurant is large and hip ...

Not sure if we would come back ... a 5 out of 10

It was very basic and closest Vegan friendly restaurant to Marianplatz. Lunch was fairly packed. The curry special (Diablo) was underwhelming. Think fried tofu bits doused with below average Vindaloo curry. The pizza dough looked premade and overcooked.

We're not vegetarian, but chose this restaurant anyway. Wow! The food was just delicious and sooooo fresh! We each had the side salad and shared the spinach crepes. Plenty of food for 2. Very clean and great service!

This was one of the best meals I had when visiting Munich recently. We went for dinner on a Monday night and were sat right away despite not having reservations and it being quite busy! The menu is robust for a vegetarian restaurant, with plenty of vegan options as well. I ordered a mushroom tempeh dish with steamed veggies and potato au gratin on the side and thought it was delicious.

I stumbled on this restaurant, which is located just around the corner from my hotel, on my first night in Munich. Due to the ongoing pandemic I opted to eat outside. My server was a jolly and friendly lady who advised me well on what to order, the lasagna. I loved the food and told her I would be back.

I'm only in Munich for 3 nights, but decided to return for lunch on Sunday. It was pouring down rain, I had no choice other than to eat inside. I had the "Hiro" bowl, a Japanese buckwheat noodles, gourmet mushrooms, and other vegetables. The desserts at this restaurant are gorgeous and so tasty, save room.

I don't write lots of restaurant reviews on Yelp, this place is a true winner. I've been traveling in France and Germany for several weeks. I had my best meals at Prinz Myshkin. If you're vegetarian or vegan, this place is a MUST in Munich.

This is a very well known vegan and vegetarian restaurant in Munich, in the centre of the City, five minutes' walk from the Marienplatz.

The venue has a small number of chairs and tables outside but has a spacious, almost cavernous interior.

Our experience was rather mixed: when we entered there was no-one to greet us, so the people in front asked a rather flustered member of staff at the counter what they should do - ie should they just sit at a table and wait? "If you like" he said. So they did and we did.

It took some time for a waitress to take our order, though to be fair she was lovely throughout: just ridiculously overworked. I counted three staff trying to service around 50 customers. Unsurprisingly, some of the tables had crockery and glasses left from previous diners.

The menu is extensive and caters for both vegans and vegetarians, with a mixture of cuisines, including Japanese and Italian. We chose a vegan ravioli with tomato sauce and a pizza Myshkin with Roquefort, spinach and porcini mushrooms.

Both were decent - tasty but not outstanding - but, as others have said, the prices are high: just put mains, plus water and a coke, came to over €40. And serving the experience had taken close to two hours. The desserts looked lovely but we weren't willing to eat that late.

      So, a huge disappointment really.i

Was looking for a decent salad entree option while walking around marienplatz. Went in here because they had three thoughtfully designed salads. Turns out the whole menu has lots of vegetarian options. Once I started looking at the menu, I forgot all about the salad and went with zucchini blossom (which came with a delicious n simple side baby arugula salad) and carrotginger juice.

      Yum!

I went here for dinner tonight and it was my first visit. There are very few vegetarian restaurants in Munich and some normal restaurants have good options for vegetarians. This one of course is all vegetarian. I grew up vegetarian so have had lots of superb vegetarian cuisine with lots of different variety. I also trained as a vegetarian chef when I was younger so learnt so many different ways in which to use vegetables and other ingredients to make interesting dishes.

This place however has a bit of an "Identity Crisis" as, the menu is a combination of German, a lot of Italian (typical of Munich) some Indian and some Chinese / Japanese. What also surprised me was the distinct lack of vegetable in many of the dishes. Soya discs / buttons / medallions feature a bit in the menu and there was almost nothing with lentils or other beans on the menu.

I had the Curry Diablo for main and the Wasabi Hummus for starter. The vegetable sticks on the Wasabi Hummus plate were the best part of the dish, The Hummus lacked flavour and you certainly could not tell it had Wasabi in it. My main course of curry Diablo is supposed to be a vindaloo curry (which is usually flaming hot) and this one was barely hot. It had not a single piece of vegetable in the curry just soya buttons with a sour tomato paste with a tiny bit of heat to it. Did not try any of the desserts and would like to try some another time. They do have an extensive dessert menu (I am always a bit hesitant as dessert at dinner is not a common thing in Germany and often they can be quite disappointing).

Maybe it's just me but, if I want good vegetarian Indian food I think I will stick to my local curry house, and the same process goes for Thai and Italian. I don't think I feel the need to go to a vegetarian restaurant with an unimaginative menu. There is so much you could do with the menu here to make it super interesting for vegetarians.

The portion sizes are small and the food is quite expensive for what it is. The service is slow and took ages for them to get us the food, bill and so on. They need more staff on busy nights in my opinion as the staff were run off their feet. I should also make it a point not to try a place for the first time on a busy night (however that should not matter if the place is good).

The ambience of the restaurant is excellent with great interior design and comfortable seats etc. For looks I would give it five stars. The place was packed so it is popular with the locals and tourists. Maybe the flavours are great for the local palette and I am just not used to it. In any case I will come back here as there is not a lot of choice in Munich for vegetarian food however, I will not be rushing back.

The Munich Marathon was blocking the entrance to my hotel so I decided to go for lunch in Marienplatz. What a lucky find!

I've been vegan for nine years and traveled all over the world. Their vegan roast stew has to be one of the best meals I've ever had. Unfortunately, it was so good I forgot to take a picture. I'll be back next weekend while still visiting Munich.

The staff is also especially friendly and helpful. Overall, this place made my day after a number of complications.

Prinz Myskin offers a wide variety of vegetarian options in an open and modern environment. It reminds me of True Food Kitchen in US in some ways. I am not a vegetarian, but I do like to check out vegetarian restaurants once in a while. This place can get pretty busy. We were not able to get a table on our first visit.

The salad and drinks we had were pretty decent, but the drink size was a little on the small side for the price. The standout dish was the Spinach Ghocchi. I can really taste the ingredients on the first few bites. Unfortunately, it became too rich for me to finish. I recommend ordering this one item to share if you are someone like me who is afraid of rich entree. Overall, I think this place is worthy of a visit whether you are vegetarian or not. I do wish to come back to try out the sweets next time I am in Munich.
