Queen of Tarts

Loved our visit to Queen of Tarts! Amazing pastries and great coffee at reasonable prices.

There has been a line up outside this popular cafe whenever we walked by. On a weekday afternoon, we happened to be in the area and there was no line! Since we were on the way to dinner, we stopped quickly to share something and check out the hype.

On the recommendation from our waitress, we got the Queen of Chocolate Fudge Cake. A layered cake with a thick layer of chocolate ganache on top. It was served with some whipped cream and berries. It was a good slice of cake, but not sure I wouldn't rave about it.

The atmosphere is nice to have afternoon tea and unwind for a bit. A nice café, a bit on the expensive side but don't fully get the hype.

I loved the pastries here and the ambience. Everything was simply perfect. Clean bathrooms, nice staff, cute upstairs. Nice little side street for people watching and they kept us covered from the rain. Can't forget the cute cobble stone streets.

Quaint little restaurant off of the main path. This gem of a brunch place had fresh, well-prepared and creative dishes. I had the veggie Brekkie which a perfectly fried egg, beans, potato cake, toast with butter, jam or both. How do you spell delicious! I also had the perfect latte exquisitely made and just right. The wait staff was friendly and the service impeccable. A must try but go early on Sunday before church service let's out!

This place is so charming and so delicious! While in Ireland, my son and I visited Queen of Tarts twice! I recommend the Queens Breakfast!

Delectable treats to fill and feed anyone sweet tooth. Highly recommend you don't miss this treasure if in Dublin. Service was prompt. Friendly waitress and a nice spot to stop and fill your cravings.

Overall good experience. Service was a bit slow, but we came at a tie when they were starting to get busy. This is the 2nd year in a row I visited when i came to Ireland. Worth going!

Food is now horrendous, the 2 sisters who created this beautiful business sold it and it's so sad, can't even make a decent scone v

Absolutely wonderful. Fresh. Quality ingredients. The eggs and fennel scone was memorable. The owner stopped and chatted with my sister and I, and shared her 7 year journey in NY with us and made our presence feel important and homelike. We're from the States too. Yummy mochas too!

What a gem of a place! Great breakfast and yummy pastries! A must when in Dublin for sure!
