A great hotel located next to the Berliner Dim and Museum Insel. Location is 5 stars and the quality is the hotel is very high.
Very friendly staff, great rooms, the huge aquarium in the middle of the lobby and walking distance to tons of restaurants and tourist attractions make it an ideal location for exploring Berlin.
The quality of the bed is good and the pillows are also good. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. The hotel lobby bar is very nice and I really enjoyed my stay here despite it being busy.
Happily come here anytime.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Infos zum Inhaber

Nice hotel not far from the Berlin Cathedral. The lobby area is really nice and has a huge fish tank that is attached to the Aquarium. There's a moving staircase that goes thru the fish tank which is really cool. I didn't get a chance to visit the actual Aquarium though.
The staff at the reception leave a little something to be desired though. Stiff and not too polite. Not all of them but the ones I dealt with.
The rooms were a little small but nice. I happened to get a small balcony with a great view. Modern feel to the rooms.Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 9Oh no 0 - Krifka S.New York, Vereinigte Staaten1341802222. Sept. 2019
Here for a conference and this was a suggested hotel. My first room had stains all over the desk and my second "upgraded room" for 25Euro more has stains on the desk AND rips in the carpet!

We visited during the summer of the record heat wave temperatures, there was a several gallon container of water in the middle of the lobby ,
I went to get a drink of water and was reprimanded by a middle aged male staff that the water was not for me but only people during registration.
I am a older disabled woman who uses a cane.
I was shocked at how inhospitable this hotel was.
Every day in Berlin someone was rude to us, or yelled at us. The good parts were the location and generous breakfast buffet. Staff rarely smiled or initiated nice conversation.
I can not recommend this place.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Infos zum Inhaber

the hEAT restaurant is located right at the Kanal, with an amazing view to the Berlin cathedral.
The Namibian steak just tasted perfectly, and the dessert was perfect.
The rooms are spacious, with nice little balconies and very comfortable beds.
The staff is very professional and helpful and the breakfast is just as amazing as the dinner.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - David L.Palisades Park, Vereinigte Staaten105914. Nov. 2018
I actually really enjoyed my stay here (which is the reason I gave two stars, not one). What ruined the experience was that on the last night I waited 45 minutes for a plate and ice to be brought to my room (I had picked up food and wanted to eat in my room). I wasn't sure what was taking so long so I went downstairs to reception to ask about it after the first 30 minutes. They said it would be brought right up. Another 15 minutes later, I'm still waiting so I go back down again and this time ask one of the waitresses directly. She said that it would be another 10 minutes for the ice unfortunately, there were no buckets. That's totally fine, I understand it's busy and/or they don't have the buckets right now, there is nothing they can do about that. It would have been nice if they let me know that it would take close to an hour to fulfill my fairly simple request, but again, I understand.
What prompted this review and rating was: 1) the attitude and the dirty looks this waitress was giving me as I asked for a plate and hot sauce so that I could go ahead and eat the food that had grown cold while I had been waiting for 45 minutes, and 2) the bucket they sent me the ice in. It was extremely dirty, see the attached picture. Was this really the only container that they could have brought ice in? Wow. As much as I enjoyed my stay here for the first 5 nights, experiencing this on the last night does not make me really want to come here again. If I did, I would not order anything from the restaurant/bar downstairs and I would certainly avoid dealing with room service.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Infos zum Inhaber

Call me crazy but I am giving this place 5, yes FIVE stars. We were fortunate to find a great deal on Expedia, which gave us a discount to the executive jr suite and breakfast. The view from our room was Ah-Maze-Ing.. the Cathedral was literally a coin toss away. The balcony was a little tiny but considering it was 7 degrees outside (yes, it was warm for February) who cares!
The staff was excellent. English speakers who gave good advise, and very helpful. The famous fish tank was as impressive as it looked on the photos, and the location was excellent if you're here for the museums. Nefertiti and the Ishtar gate was only 5 minutes walk away, and with our Museum Pass, we had access to all the museums with the ability to come back to the room to rest.
In front of the Cathedral was a bus stop, and bus 200 was an excellent bus taking us all over town and also to the Berlin Philharmonie.
About a 10 minutes walk was the Gallerie and the TV Tower (and Starbucks!) and plenty of restaurants to eat at.
I was disappointed they stopped using Molton Brown toiletries (wasn't happy with the new french brand they switched to) but lucky I brought my own Molton Brown gel. Plenty of plugs in the room. Not a whole lot of drawer space, but ample closet space.
Big bathroom with a big tub (slow drain) and separate toilet, bathrobes and slippers. The Nespresso machine was excellent and the in room safe was easy to use.
The breakfast buffet was EXCELLENT.. best one I've had in Germany. Hot and cold food, huge selection of breads, pastries, meats, cheese, yogurts, cereals, made-to-order eggs or waffles, fruit, even lactose free items. You can get coffee, capuccino or teas to drink, and help yourself to fresh juices at the buffet.
I didn't park at the hotel, but it looks like there's a park garage underneath. I'm sure it wasn't cheap to park. You don't need a car if you stay within the city. The bus and the streetcars were more than adequate.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Laura P.Glasgow, Vereinigtes Königreich19012042728. Nov. 2015
We stayed at the Radisson Blu for our short winter break to Berlin and it proved the perfect base for our stay.
Our business class rooms were relatively small but immaculately clean with a decent television, bathroom etc and complimentary robes and slippers.
Location wise it was really good for our visit to the Christmas markets in the MItte area and not far from Alexanderplatz train station.
Breakfast was included with our stay and although there was amble choice of your usual breakfast buffet, some more fruit , yogurt and cereal selection would have been nice (some granola in particular rather than just the boring offers of cornflakes and muesli).
It wasn't the cheapest when we booked but it was definitely a good choice for our holiday.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Kate W.Manchester, Vereinigtes Königreich4112928813. Juli 2015
This has to be one of the best hotels i've stayed in whilst being in Europe. I booked last minute on expedia as a package deal with flights. We arrived after a very early flight from Manchester and to a warm welcome. Our check in was smooth - we were told about the breakfast (additional cost) and the spa facilities.
We headed up to our room to drop our things off - bonus in the fact that we checked in around an hour earlier than my booking reference confirmed! We headed through the foyer with a spectacular view of a huge fish tank spanning at least 6\7 floors!
We got to our room which was very spacious with two twin beds and french doors that opened onto the atrium and the spectacular fish tank! The bathroom was nicely presented and with enough towels and the plus was the two small wardrobes so we both had enough hangers each which is rare to come by!
We stayed around 4 nights and throughout our stay we slept very well! The beds were very comfortable and the pillows nice and fluffy. The only criticism I would have about the room was the bathroom door which wouldn't close properly.
We had a few drinks down in the hotel bar which was nice although very pricey however it was a lovely place to sit and chill out after a long day sightseeing. The staff were very great throughout our stay with suggestions on the best sightseeing tours and service. We we're well rested on our early check out to be surprised with a bar bill that wasn't ours! After a few minutes of worrying we we're going to be charged nearly 50 euros the manager came over and (luckily) believed us and wavered the tab.
Hopefully they have a better procedure if people are going to order on their rooms in the future! Saying that everything else was of a 5* level - I have recommended this place to my friends and family some of whom are hoping to head to Berlin soon!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Infos zum Inhaber

Dear Kate,
Many thanks for sharing your feedback and we are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. Your Radisson Blu Team. - Brian L.NoDa, Charlotte, Vereinigte Staaten2362821. Juli 2018
We were here for a conference. But, the hotel was a great combination: perfect location, nice room and plenty of space to gather in the lobby, etc. Had a great experience.
Staff was helpful. Room was well appointed. Lobby was fun with the aquarium (it's really large and easy to relax gazing at the fish).
Location was great. Close to (within walking distance) all things touristy in Berlin.
The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices and the fresh squeezed orange juice was tasty.
Since this was for work, we didn't pick this, but we would definitely stay here again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Infos zum Inhaber
