Excellent, elegant dining in Altone.
I ate slow-braised beef cheeks. My partner roast pork. Both dishes were exquisitely prepared with excellent wine pairings. This neighbourhood style hangout is highly recommended.

Sage advice: book if you actually want to eat here! Top class German cuisine in Altona, and the hoards of customers packing this out every night seem to think so too. It's a bit of Hamburg institution, and well worth a look.

I can't write that much about this place as we simply sat outside and had a couple of beers. My main comment regarding service was that the folks were super nice and highly attentive. I've rarely been somewhere where sitting outside, you received plenty of attention. If you're in the area, worth stopping in.

Best steak I've had in Hamburg! Book in advance to ensure you get a tableit's definitely worth the wait! Great for a romantic dinner for two too ;)
