Riko's Pizza

Very good bar style pizza. Basically, a Colony Pizza knock-off. Given the choice, I'll always order Colony over Riko's. I think Riko's pizzas are too oily and drippy.

Unique & delicious pizza. Very thin crust. Love their pizza! Whether it's plain, with a ton of veggie toppings or pepperoni, it's always delicious.

So while working an event at the Stamford Hilton. We had Rikos brought in. The cheese pizza was not even recognizable as pizza. And so close to the home of pizza. New Haven.

I loved the crushed tomatoes on the Margarita pizza but I find the cheese lacking in flavor and I didn't taste any teriyaki on the small chicken pieces!
My wife enjoyed the regular cheese pizza.
Great Gorgonzola salad with super chilled and crispy lettuce!

When I compare this to the original thin crust pizza from colony this can't even be considered in the same universe. The pizza has zero taste, it comes out cold to the table and the service is terrible. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

These guys know how to do it right. Cold beer. Great pizza. Great hang space. Creative salads. They have the customer service experience to always treat you right. String recommend.

Yes and no.
The pizza is very inconsistent. I've had it ordered a few times, sometimes it's really good and tasty. Other times it's overcooked and barely any cheese at all.
The service is really not great. The servers are really stern and strict but The takeout lady is usually nice.
We had this ordered in before where it tasted like cardboard. So it's really hit or miss.
I think if you pick UP the pizza on time and eats it quickly it's a 3.5 otherwise, not a fan fav.

Not my kind of pizza. It's boring and has very little flavor in my opinion. Just not worth the money when you can go to a local shop and get much better pizza.

The service is horrible. Waitress brought a check despite nobody have asked her to, which felt like being kicked out. After paying, the waitress caught me and my friend at the bathroom on the way out and said she brought the wrong check, so we had to wait for her to cancel old transaction, bring new check, etc. After waiting for her to fix her mistake, we left 10% tip instead of 20%. She felt entitled to 20% tip and said she uses that money to feed her kids, and called me a scumbag. Complained to the managers, and they simply ignored us saying there is nothing they can do. Asked the waitress to apologize and she apologized for making a mistake with a wrong check, denying that she ever called me a scumbag. Very rude and unprofessional. If I did this at my job, I would have been fired immediately. A few days later decided to order pizza online (the chain itself is not bad). The order took 1.5 hours and was 40 minutes late, pizza arriving cold. This place doesn't deserve a single star. Steer clear.

I've never ordered or eaten at Riko's. So idk why was selected for a review? Not sure what Yelp is doing or trying to do to pull surveys for an order I've never placed or a restaurant I've never eaten. Sorry
