Trattoria Riva

After a long day we decided to treat ourselves to some nice italian food.
We came here on a late friday evening, hungry and relaxed. We decided to eat inside as it was a bit cool outside (but great that they offer to sit on the street!).

Food was great, service wasn't really good... we waited a long time to place our order and to get our food.

We had two Pizza "Quattro Staggioni" and one "Rucola", the truffle Ravioli and as starters the Carpaccio and the Bruschetta.
Everything tasted fresh and yummy!
I will come back for more great food and hope for better service next time :)

Nach einem langen Tag entschieden wir, uns mit leckerem italienischem Essen zu verwöhnen. Es war schon recht spät an einem Freitag Abend und wir waren recht entspannt und hungrig. Wir entschieden uns drinnen zu essen, da es draußen schon etwas zu kühl wurde (aber cool dass es die Möglichkeit mitten in Stuttgart gibt draußen zu sitzen!).

Das Essen war super, der Service eher nicht so... wir haben auf alles einfach zu lang warten müssen, dafür, dass das Restaurant nicht einmal zu einem drittel voll war.

Wir hatten zwei Pizza "Quattro Staggioni", eine mit Rucola, die Trüffel-Ravioli und als Vorspeise Bruschetta und das Rinder-Carpaccio. Alles hat frisch und lecker geschmeckt!
I will definitiv für mehr leckeres Essen zurückkommen, ich hoffe nur auf etwas besseren Service beim nächsten Mal :)

I like Riva a lot. That's all I can say. The food is quite good and they have a great outdoor space in season.

It seems that every neighborhood in Germany has their own Italian restaurant, and mine has Riva!

Try the Gnocchi with Gorgonzola or any pizza.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Stuttgart. Always get one of their special daily dishes from the menu...very delicious and worth the money! Great staff - friendly, family-oriented, hard working...which is characteristic of a great Italian restaurant! No high prices here, just good quality Italian food served by a great staff.

Excellent service and great food! Fantastic pizza and pasta with great wine makes for an excellent night out with friends.

Yet another excellent Italian restaurant in Germany that we had the great fortune to live near. This was just down the street from our apartment and we ate here often. They always had awesome weekly specials and the owner and staff are so kind, they even threw a little party for my parents for their final meal before leaving. I can't wait to visit so I can dine here again.
