Roxie

I am not usually writing bad reviews at all but with Roxie being in my direct neighbourhood I had been foolish enough to hang out there a couple of times.
And I regretted it every single time.


Okay, the food isn't that expensive and neither are the drinks.


BUT the service is horribly slow and not attentive.
The food is just boring and lacks taste in all sorts of way.
Once when I didn't finish my pasta they asked me would I like to bring the rest home deary me, noooo! It just wasn't any good. That's why I left it there.


Oh and my friend and I nearly got refused to enter as we wanted to go for a quick, late drink some time ago.
Just because we were a slight little bit merry and closing time was lurking around the corner.
However after a few pleas and please we were allowed in.


There you see what pure desperation drives you into.


Anyway if you need a quick BOTTLE of something it's an okay place to go to but if you are looking for food or kind service please don't go there. Down the road towards Winterhuder Marktplatz there are loads of other pubs - and much nicer.

This is not a gourmet restaurant. This is a place to watch football and have beer and snacks. Works well for that.
