Huge supermarket which sells a great range of products, also sells their own range of clothing as well as toys electrical, cds, games, DVDs. They also have plenty of offers on like buy one get one free etc. Instore there is also a pharmacy, a newsagent section, key cutting, cafe (which has recently been done up) and toilets.
There is always plenty of tills staffed as well as self service tills which has a member of staff available on it if you get stuckHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Chris L.London, Vereinigtes Königreich99139. Juni 2015Erster Beitrag
Cafe is okay, service a little funny and not many healthy options but predictable and inexpensive.

This store has improved a great deal of late. I like the size of the store as it is not too large. The car park can sometimes be a pain as it is not a car park dedicated solely to Sainsbury customers. The staff are very friendly. They have had some great offers in store recently. I do find the security guards a bit intimidating though! This store has a coffee shop and a bakery and a small newsagent section.

Sainsbury's in Huntingdon is located in the town centre and is accessible by car from the one way system or on foot from St Germain Walk. The parking charges are extremely low at only 30p for 1hr and you can even get this back if you go and shop in store.Inside there's a decent range of supermarket produce including a good selection of salad and bakery goods. There's a pharmacy over to the back of the store which is really convenient too. It can be difficult to park here at peak times because people use this as a car park for the town despite there being a perfectly good town car park just down the road!

Star rating of 1 as will not allow zero.
In my opinion based on last visit:
Very expensive (actually dearer than Waitrose on many items).
Quality of Fruit & veg mediocre at best.
Virtually no British Meat.
Poor selection on the bakery section.
The deputy store manager - Dereck Jamieson - has strange ideas about licensing laws.
Refused to sell me Smirnoff Ice as I have two under 18's shopping with me.
According to him it was "Illegal to sell alcohol to anyone accompanied by children". Oddly enough, he would agree to sell me tins of Guinness.
He was also threatening, obnoxious and rude.
Have not used Sainsburys since, and never plan to again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (simoni…)Huntingdon, Vereinigtes Königreich15915. Nov. 2008
good supermarket overall, used to shop at sainburys on a regular basis befor but not anymore.this one has somehow been always confusing to me.it takes me ages to find what I need so I rather not go.
the iles are not arranged for quick and easy shopping and sometimes you need to go throuout all store to find something like bread witch I assume should be close to entry.
other than this,no comments regarding staff or anything else.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
