Waitress was extremely rude and food was very mediocre. I heard great things about this place, but was not impressed.

Best Chinese food I've ever had outside China. Very typical shanghai dishes. The owner is from Shanghai.
Unlike other so called Chinese restaurant that serves food you might never see in China, here they provide the actual Chinese food.

Officially my favorite Chinese restaurant in town. Its authentic and we really missed dim sum like we had in China. We tried 2 types of Dim Sum - one steamed (D1) and another that was fried (D2). We also shared fried udon noodles (E11) - which we were told it was house made noodles. Everything was delicious. We saw a lot of people who passed by, peeked in and then kept walking. Don't let the authenticity deter you from trying how Chinese food should really taste like. Everything bursted with flavor! I promised to go back and try the remaining dim sum. The owner was also really nice and friendly and chatted with us about their food.

Probably one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants you will fond in Europe. Excellent Shanghai dishes served in an unpretentious setting in the "Belgian quartier" of Cologne.

I have been looking for a place in Cologne and surrounding neighbourhoods where they would serve delicious dumplings and especially my so greatly loved Xiao Long Bao. By incident we ended up at Shanghai Küche one afternoon and oh my word, we were blown away. The food is super authentic, the Xiao Long Bao exactly like I have dreamed of and the other dumplings and mains, such as the duck, on point too. Another plus is the very friendly staff, who get super excited when you tell them how much you love their food. Amazing place, will always come back when in Cologne.

Absolutely delicious and highly recommended. We had dim sum, soups and a few different beef/pork dishes. Everything was extremely fresh, tasty and authentic!
The menu was rather long, and it was difficult to make a decision based on the pictures, but don't let that deter you. It seems that everything they do, they do great. This place is definitely one of our new favorites in Cologne that we will go to regularly.

This is real chinese food! Very friendly owner as well as the cook even came and said hello to the guest. We ate here together with friends, all former expats in shanghai. Real chinese food is a kind of home for us. The shanghai kitchen doesn't disappoint. The taste is right on, and you even get delicious soup dumplings - xialongbao.
I highly recommend the place.

Super authentic Shanghainese/Chinese food. I lived in Shanghai for a good 10 months and have been scavenging NRW for good authentic Chinese food. I finally found the perfect place! The owners are from Shanghai, so all of their recipes are authentic and only slightly changed to fit the German tastebuds. I absolutely loved the xiao long bao as these are my favorite type of dumplings and I am super happy that these did not disappoint me! I had braised pork rolled in a dark sauce, resembling similar to hongshaorou. It was super sweet and tender. One of my favorite Chinese dishes. My boyfriend got a noodle dish that resembled to Dan Dan noodles. He asked for very spicy and they delivered the spice! There were more types of vegetables than usual in the noodle recipe, but still very enjoyable. Absolute favorite in Cologne and now the place I regularly go to when I miss and need my authentic Chinese food!

Pretty tasty Chinese/ shanghai cooking incl. good dimsums. The only thing would be that it is pretty pricy for Chinese food, but portions are generous (best for family style eating).
