Sheraton Boston Needham Hotel

Beds are comfy. rooms are worn. It's clean enough. Pretty short on the towels ...I could call for more but a hassle. No room service. Lame.

HVAC system sounds like a person is digging in an ice machine in my room. Woke tooo many times in the night with earplugs.

But it's the one hotel near my office that has a bar with food and when you get in late , that's nice. f Uber eats.

The best part is the staff. The front desk peeps are nice....Ed is a great bar tender! 6 stars for Ed! He's very nice and makes a good drink.

My employer got me a room in this hotel, and it was okay. The rooms did seem to be clean and did not smell bad. The hotel seems to be old, and their elevator makes a lot of noise when you reach floor 5. To get to the pool is hidden; I couldn't find a sign to let you know you go inside the gym and find the way to the pool. The lobby is the only area that looks modern and new. Their food is okay, but I do have to say the burger was really good. My coworkers got the other meals, which we shared, and they were okay. The buffalo wings were okay, and I will try them again. There's only one bartender, and if it gets packed, he gets frustrated and ignores you until he's not rushed.

Do not stay here!!!! Never Have a I ever been to an establishment where me and family would be interrogated by the bartender upon requesting ID for drinks at the bar, he came from behind the bar and started asking questions to my mother and wife as if the Id provided wasn't enough proof. I would definitely say we were discriminated against for our ethnicity! another costumer came after us had no ID and was served!!! Complete inappropriate conduct and lack of respect.

I don't know why this hotel has just 2 and a half stars, my boyfriend and I were a little worried abut it when we found it on the internet( price was low ) the reality is definitely 5 stars, or at least 4 for some of you, unless you're so annoying. We loved it, the guy who received us was so sweet, he even gave us a card to use next day for breakfast as courtesy, our room was so cool and clean! We felt like in the paradise, the bathroom was amazing! The Colombian girl working during breakfast, everyone was so nice.
Breakfast? Whoa, it was really good, they do a buffet, too many options, it tasted so good! Love it love it love it! We were 100% satisfied from the beginning to the end! So, don't trust the 2and a half stars!

This review is for the front desk staff. Don and CeCe have been very helpful in answering my questions and providing information on what to expect during my stay. They both have spent a lot of time breaking things down for me and I really appreciate it! Very kind, gracious, and thoughtful.I will leave another review after the stay but want to give a shout out to this hard working staff! Really appreciate them!!

Perfect for a bar-mitzvah! Went to a cousins celebration and it was set up like a wedding. Full DJ, Dancing, multi course meal with cocktail hour and appetizers, full service too. Didn't stay here (we stayed next door) but came for the day. Full buffet breakfast setup the next morning with all the fixings too.

Great place , service was awesome very attentive and personable staff! Food was great with mean margaritas.
Overall perfect!

Reservation was made a MONTH ago, NO ROOM available upon checking in!
This hotel is over selling the rooms and the reservation system is meant for nothing!

The worst hotel we ever had!!for almost 2 night we did not have hot water. Been complaining to the front desk 3x and the last the guy who keeps coming up our room said that since they are renovating the hot water is not coming into our side of our wing unless they keep it on for the whole time. Next is their AC in the room, we complained that it was not blowing cold air and the front desk told us they cannot turn the AC yet because it's not season to turn it on yet. If they do turn it on they have to turn on the whole hotel's AC and she said it was not season yet. We came in March and we liked cozy cold rooms when we stay in hotels. Lastly they don't serve breakfast unless you pay for it and good thing thing someone was sitting and dining when we are getting coffee and they were disappointed in their food.

Try to look for somewhere else to stay.

We returned to the Sheraton Needham again after a visit during the pandemic saw the bar and restaurant closed down. These guys are really upping their game! The room we got was clean and it came with a nice quiet fridge. The property isn't fancy, but is nicely maintained and clean and more than good enough for a family visit or business trip.
Most importantly was that the front desk team of Tasha and Cece were very friendly and helpful getting us checked in and making sure we got everything we needed.
They have this stupid garage setup where you are supposed to use a Marriott Bonvoy app on your phone to scan a code to trigger the liftgate to the entrance, or you can text a number to get in. It ain't easy.
Last tip, you can often get a great deal on this hotel on Priceline and other sites. It is seconds off of Rte. 128 and should be considered by travelers not needing to be in downtown Boston. Right down the street there is just about every kind of restaurant imaginable, which is nice.
