Sign Of The Fish

Much better quality today! Although I asked for a cone of chips and cheese and received a tray! I guess cones are a thing of the past! But if you have midgit hands, they're a lot easier to hold! Anyways, much quality chips and cheese unlike last time. I know I know! Who knew there could be bad quality grated cheese, but honestly the last few have not been good and quite dry, dare I say old???

I went here the other day because I went to Lincoln and my tummy started eating itself it was so hungry, and this place smelt soooo good when I walked past that I did a 180 and walked right back in. I got a cone of chips for £1 and there were too many for me to finish, even with my uber hunger on.


The chips were light and fluffy and not greasy at all, and they left the vinegar and salt on the side so I could drown in them, which I did, om nom. Excellent choice for a mid-shop bite.

First time of eating in and was impressed. The food was hot and delicious. The girls were friendly and I enjoyed the experience. Will definitely visit again, Well done

Never had curry sauce like it from anywhere else!

Can't remember a time when this chippy hasn't been there, and there's always a queue, but it's worth the wait. Fantastic chips; golden and crispy with a fluffy centre - absolutely perfect, great curry sauce which is full of flavour and is not too runny. What can be better on a cold day than piping hot chips and curry sauce with a few scraps add a good sprinkle of vinegar and watch them steam. The peas and beans are also very good. I don't eat fish so I can't tell you what the fish tastes like but it certainly looks good. The staff are lovely, they always have a smile on there faces and join the customers in a bit of friendly banter. The prices are also very good. The best chip shop in Lincoln

Awesome fish and chips. They always smell great as you walk past and they taste just as great. They have been there for years and years and as far as I'm aware the quality has always been high. Great Fish and Chips.

An excellent fish and chip shop which is always busy. It also has a restaurant with limited seating downstairs which is fine if you can navigate the steep and winding stairs. It's highly recommended.

One of the best chip shops in town, when its open.
