I have walked past this place a few times but never tried it. Today I decided to give it a go. It was sunny and warm and the outdoor seating area here was inviting and it looked nice. So I decided to stop and have a spot of lunch.
It's a reasonable menu with breakfast, mueslis, sandwiches, salads and pasta items. There is also a dessert / cake section. One of their specialities here is cocoa and you can get many varieties hot or cold as a frappe. I opted for the homemade lemonade with ginger and honey. I ordered the gnocchi with mushroom and walnut with a mushroom pesto sauce. The lemonade was ok and nothing special. Without the honey it would have been way too sour.
The food is ok, service a bit slow but friendly. I am likely to come back here as it is not far from where I live. Must try the cocoa next time.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Juan Miguel C.München, Bayern5261816. Aug. 2015

The much advertised large variety of cocoa was quite a dissappointment. There were only six different kinds or so, of which I had two and especially the orange-flavored did not taste the least bit of orange. The other one ( a dark one) was alright, but not outstanding.
The sandwich I had was excellent though. Crisp on the outside, with loads of cheese, bacon and dried tomatoes on the inside. Really good.
As for the atmosphere - while I did not like it exactly ( looks like a crammed living room) it surely has its charm for some people.
The service was friendly, but was a bit disorganized.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
