South Hill Park

We did a show here with my college, it is a massive place with a huge car park. The shows here are really good and not too expensive either. It is really nice and modern inside and it even has a bar but dont get anything from there if your counting the pennies. It has a lovely play area outside. I really like this place, I have also seen a show here which was fantastic!

South Hill Park is a house with an arts centre inside, and loads of park area outside. There are two sections to the park area, with one part of a lake in each. Loads of room for running around, several play areas for kids. They often hold festivals, craft fairs and other activities during the year. There's often live music on Sundays on the terrace. There's also a comedy club which is very small but big names come to it often, especially to try out their material before a bigger tour.

South Hill is a really nice arts centre which not only has a bar / restaurant, but also a theatre where music acts and plays / pantomimes are performed, and also a small underground bar where local artists are encouraged to play small gigs. Events such as festivals are on often and big names quite often come to play in the theatre, and prices are still quite cheap! The bar is a little bit expensive but its a nice set up with plenty of seating and some comfy sofas as well as outside seating, and a park and huge field for children to play in. All round nice place!
