Springburn Leisure Centre

Hidden away in the grotty streets of Springburn, this leisure centre is actually pretty good. This massive modern building boasts several huge pools, a jacuzzi, health suite and even a library!

Even the showers are good, with hot flowing water, which makes a change from the dribbly pipes that are usually on offer at council run swimming pools.

This place is great to take advantage of the many pools available, so that you can get a lane to yourself or simply relax in the jacuzzi or steam room. Thumbs up from me.

This is a really good council run facility which should cater to all your leisure needs. It is in a bright new modern building in the centre of Springburn. The swimming pool, gym and sports facilities, library and computer suite are all combined. As a member of the sports part, you can get access to all those bits for a fee depending on your membership type, and if you are a library member, you can get all the free books and internet access you require. They also do baby classes which you dont need to be a member for. I would say this is a first class facility but sometimes they have weird opening hours, so I would phone in advance in case you turn up and part of it is closed.
