Squire's Garden Centres

Stopped for a cup of tea and a slice of cake with my family. The actual garden center was very nice. Tea was good and cake was lovely.

The lady on the next table had the same cake but her slice was massive compared to mine :(

Also the server was a bit forth right and I didn't find her that friendly.

Would I go again - maybe if someone from my family wanted to go there

Service seems to have gone downhill . Give you option to order on app but no table numbers on the table. Server came back with 2 coffees and just slammed the tray down and left. Why would you leave a huge tray on the table and not just serve the coffee to us and take the tray back. We ended up putting it on the floor. Server who brought the food didn't know what went where, seemed flustered and brought us silverware twice for some reason. Food was alright but took 25 min for breakfast I was in the restaurant biz and breakfast should take 8-10 min. Could have just been off, but was just chaotic and uncomfortable

One of many garden centers in the area. This review is more for the garden center itself but not the cafe.

The Hersham Squires Garden Center is one of two in the immediate Burwood Park and St Georges Hill area. The smaller of the two the staff here are mildly friendly and keep the place tidy. This place has more Garden Furniture than the Wyevale Garden Center on Seven Hills Road but the latter has a better selection of plants than this place.

There are a couple of good things about this parking lot as since it is paved, you don't get muddy feet. It is a small squires though so selection is quite limited. Also given the clientele in the immediate vicinity, this garden center tends to stock more upmarket items and costs a fair bit more than others. Maybe that's just a Squires thing. Anywho, it's the closest to home and works in a pinch. I'd rather go to a few of the more independent garden centers in the area though slightly further afield as then you know you're really supporting the small business effort.

The staff are as simple as the menu however this is a nice place to chill and have a spot of lunch as an alternative to a pub. There are plenty of discount vouchers around for this place so have a look online etc before your £££ leave your pockets.

This branch are particularly helpful. nice cafe. Seem to have a wide range of garden furniture etc.
