Clean crisp modern room!
Did I say clean?? Well, it is! You can eat sushi off the floor, if you so desired to.

Some good...some bad.
We stayed here for one night prior to an early morning flight. We arrived about 5pm, and check-in was smooth.
The lobby of the large airport hotel is nice, presents well. The rooms however, a different story. Best way to describe our room would be like an old cruise ship. Renovations are needed top to bottom. Stepping into our room was like stepping back in time. The room was large, with a small kitchenette and large bathroom. The only thing that had been moved into current times was the tv. That being said, all of the relics were in surprisingly good condition and definitely clean. The bathroom was a hard one...when you've cleaned a wet room for so many years it begins to break down and shows wear no matter how clean it is.
We went downstairs to the restaurant for dinner. Our food was good, but unfortunately the server forgot to enter one of our dishes so 2 of us finished before the 3rd got his meal. And no discount or free meal offered afterwards...and with this being the end of a busy trip, we were too tired to argue.
Pros: proximity to the airport, great/free shuttle service, reasonable room prices, comfortable beds.
Con: rooms need updated like no one's business
If you need a place to stay that'll get you to the airport fast, you'll get a good night of sleep at a reasonable price here...just be ready for a "blast from a cheesy cruise ship past" when you enter your room.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kevin P.Decatur, Vereinigte Staaten8634333428. All this space in German hotel for around $359 is incredible. Great location near airport and a free airport shuttle to boot. Traveled around Germany and wanted to stay close to the airport on last night for an early flight and this fit the bill baby. Downstairs bar and restaurant and typical Bavarian style restaurant adjacent building, but we had had enough over 10 days so skipped. This area is booming with new office and hotels. check out B'mine 12th floor rooftop about a 10 minute walk.

Planned last-minute due to the ineptitude of Lufthansa Airlines our 12 hours at Steigenberger Airport Hotel were as good as it gets. 24/7 Gym and Free Shuttle from the airport, plus complimentary suite upgrade upon overhearing the airline hassles. Excellent access to/from central Frankfurt via Public Transportation and even a free drink at the bar for booking via Hotels.com.

We stayed there one night for an early morning flight back to the US. Easy check-in. Lobby is huge with a great bar, wonderful food, efficient wait staff. Next morning caught the shuttle to the airport and once at the airport found that my husband had lost his phone. I immediately called the hotel to see if they had found it, they had not. They sent me 2 later emails to say they were still looking and then, what do you know, 4 days later, they emailed that they had found the phone. They promptly sent it back to us. A truely great experience that they would take such good care of their guests. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I stayed here for a night when my flight with Condor was cancelled. It was quite crazy trying to get all of us from the flight checked it but the staff were very nice and efficient. It seems like it happens quite often.
The hotel has big shuttle busses that picked us up from the airport and brought us over. It's only about 5 minutes away.
The lobby and bar area are very nice. I was surprised Condor got us accommodations in such a nice place. They have a Mercedes on display downstairs which is cool.
The room was really spacious and had a large bed. The decor is nice and modern. The room and bathroom were clean and I really liked it. On the top floor they have a pool with a nice view and a gym.
Our meals were all buffet style since it was for an airline full of people. Good food and great service.

This is an airport hotel, so my expectation wasn't high. In and out, and off you go. However, they have some great amenities. If you need to kill some time, check out the fitness center, sauna, steam bath and indoor-rooftop pool. It was relaxing once we got off our 6 hours train ride.

Hello! Unfortunately due to a cancelled flight Lufthansa placed us here. Beautiful hotel, close to the airport.
Many passengers stressed and tired were rushing into the lobby desperate for assistance. The hotel staff was very accommodating and quick. The entire check-in process took less then 10 minutes.
We were given a voucher for food which was for a buffet type style meal. The buffet included soup, salad, some entrees included chicken, jumbolia, and dessert. Beverages were in a separate fridge including Coca-Cola and Diet, Sprite, Fanta, and sparkling water.
The shuttle to the airport from the hotel departs every 20 minutes :00, :20, :40.

This hotel could do a few things and make it great. The beds are two doubles pushed together in every room. The bar and breakfast area are very nice. The hotel got an extensive remodel from the last time I was here probably 2+ years a go. Staff are very friendly at check in. The shower was great. They don't provide wash clothes which isn't sanitary imho. The bed was comfortable. It's a layover hotel for air crew & transiting passengers to Asia & Africa. I've stayed at nicer hotels in downtown for cheaper.

Simply disgusting..... Room was not cleaned whatsoever... They give you a free VIO Water bottle in the room which was used half way... Hair from pre guests on 3 of 4 pillow cases - bugs and stains on carpet! Staff couldn't care less.... Talked to the reception and believe me they don't bother since most people only stay a night. Go elsewhere - you will regret it if you expect a good experience. I don't believe most positive reviews here are real. Definitely not worth the Stars!
