My stay at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. Larry at the valet was exceptionally helpful, making the arrival process seamless.

The rooms were not only luxurious but also offered breathtaking views of the ocean, creating a serene ambiance throughout my stay. Waking up to the sound of waves crashing against the shore was truly rejuvenating.

The dining options at the Ritz Carlton exceeded my expectations. Raya restaurant, in particular, stood out with its exquisite cuisine and impeccable service. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

Overall, my experience at the Ritz Carlton Laguna was unparalleled. The combination of luxurious accommodations, stunning ocean views, and exceptional dining options made it a memorable stay. I can't wait to return.

The building: The hotel is in need of a major property improvement plan. It's seriously run down. The carpet is torn away from threshold, tile grout is cracking and separating from the wall. Drywall in hall ways has been patched all over. The owner of the property has stretched the property beyond what they should.

Service: everyone is very polite and nice but I would better getting my own food and drinks for prompt service.

East facing rooms don't get much sun in the rooms. They feel dark and cold. The trees block a lot of natural light.

The location. Unbeatable. Hence why they still book rooms. But I feel they leverage this amazing location but don't provide a level of service that would be expected from the property. It needs a new owner who is willing to put in 50mill to make this place rival the best coastal hotels in California.

Price: top of the line. They will charge you for what the ritz used to be. Could be Covid that destroyed this hotel. They must have lost millions a month. Maybe they are trying to recoup losses before improving the property.

Visited this establishment on a Sunday evening for dinner. It was unfortunate that the valet guy damaged my car. Didn't take any responsibility whatsoever. Upon picking up the vehicle after dinner - they had my car open in the pickup driveway, I haven't even showed my ticket yet, I wonder why they did this? They didn't even ask me to see my valet ticket. How is this even legal? I spoke to the management and I am not sure if anything will be resolved. You'd think that if you're at The Ritz you'd be treated like a valued guest, but I'm just left with confusion as my 150k car was skinned by the valet driver and I'm waiting to hear their response to this.

We had my younger sister in laws engagement this afternoon.
The outdoor bar was really nice and acomodating but when we went into Raya restaurant this douchebag came up to my sis and told her to keep it down. That she was being loud.

Of course my sis got upset and asked us to turn it down. But we were there celebrating her. Just unfair that that guy got to stay and give our party looks throughout the dinner. His gf too which looked embarrassed but supporting him, looked like she was uncomfortable. Girl run. He looks like a narcissistic.

Anyways the food wasn't very good. I asked for the white bean soup and they brought out like 5-12 beans in a bowl with green parsley???? Then they poured the "soup" over the beans. Pretty bad tbh. Not worth the $$$ for a meal.

The drinks at the rooftop bar were good. At Raya, they were ok. The views were to die for. Beautiful view of the ocean. The staff was great but had they interfered a little would have been 4/5 to prevent any problems. Food was still bleh

Our weekend getaway to The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, with family was extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the hallmark of Ritz-Carlton hospitality--unparalleled service and unrivaled excellence. One of the most remarkable aspects of our stay was having the entire resort and beach to ourselves throughout the weekend. The resort's stunning location overlooking the ocean added to the overall ambiance, providing breathtaking views and a sense of tranquility.

What truly sets The Ritz-Carlton apart is its exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our every need was met with a warm smile and genuine hospitality. We can't wait to return for another memorable stay.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and my husband and I had a great staycation here for 4 days. From the moment we stepped out of our vehicle until the moment we checked out they really knew how to make us feel special. They serve you complimentary champagne when you check in and they're also walking distance to the beach.. what more could you ask for? You know what is so unique about this hotel? They have a service called a "beach butler" where they take you in a golf cart to the beach and set up lounge chairs, umbrellas and towels anywhere you'd like on the beach. You need to call in advance, but since we went during the winter they were pretty open whenever we needed. I suggest you call way ahead of time if you plan on utilizing this service during the summer. They did say it gets exceptionally busy!

It was too cold to get into the pool but we did take advantage of the jacuzzi each day. They came by the jacuzzi once to offered us a free drink which was so nice! They also do offer a free cocktail each day at the bar if we showed our room key pocket, but we forget to claim that some days!

My favorite restaurant on property was their Indian restaurant but it's only open Tuesday- Saturday so plan accordingly because you don't want to miss out on this experience!

The food is pretty expensive but everything is delicious. If you want to save on food I suggest you get breakfast and/or lunch at the coffee shop right across from their restaurant. We did that one morning and took our food to the beach to enjoy it there.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in Laguna. The entire staff are top tier and we never felt out of place at this fancy hotel. Will definitely come back!

This review is long overdue but that's because the business did not send me a bill clarifying what charges are or any follow up emails to verify my experiences. I couldn't even reach them through phone call so I gave up because I have more important things to do in life.

I stayed at a suite earlier this year and I did not observed true Ritz Carlton quality with this property. To start with, the service I received from the staff was a hit or miss. The person who brought our room service didn't bother to setup our table and didn't know how to do so properly when asked. Nobody came afterwards to help clean up either. The next person who brought room service didn't bother making any tidy up and just put clean plates on top of the dirty table. I have to grab baby wipes myself to wipe it down.

Outside the room, when I went to the restaurant and it was full, the restaurant manager told me to take my kids out on the balcony when the temperature was 40 degrees outside. When we were waiting for the valet, the staff asked if I want to take my children and run to the car that was parked nearby, in the rain...

The bedroom was also paper thin so I could hear everything in another room when we were going to bed.

This property got two stars only for the location and the room's cleanliness. Everything else was basically a disappointment.

Of all the Ritz-Carlton's, this is our favorite. The facility is gorgeous. The grounds are beautiful and meticulous. The employees are outstanding. The food is over-the-top and when you add the beach and ocean, complete with amazing sunsets it is truly a fabulous experience. From this location, you can easily ride the tram to Laguna Beach or walk to Dana Point or take a drive to Newport Beach, Lido or Balboa Peninsula. We have been many times to this location and look forward to returning.

Our third stay at the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel was exceptional. We spent 2 nights and 3 days over President's Day weekend and it was truly memorable.

Check-in was incredibly convenient. Tri Phan, the Guest Relations Coordinator, reached out to us before our stay and ensured everything would be special. Tri went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. We were pleasantly surprised by the extras, like complimentary champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries in our room - just amazing!

We stayed in room #3508, an Ocean View with Balcony, and it was fantastic. The view was breathtaking, and the service throughout the property was exceptional.

The rooms were spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and the resort itself was beautiful.

Every member of the hotel staff seemed dedicated to meeting our needs. Tre, Diana, Lisa, Sofia, and Junyi at the front desk provided excellent service with warm smiles.

Overall, we felt like VIPs from the moment we arrived until we left. Having stayed at many 5-star properties, the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel has secured a special place in our hearts for years to come.
