The early bird special is absolutely well worth it. Two courses for under £10 is cost effective. I chose the mushrooms served in a lovely creamy sauce and they lay on garlic bread. It was gorgeous and the side salad was lovely and fresh with a drizzle of a mustard type dressing. This was followed by steak pie, potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The steak just melted in my mouth - the gravy a tad salty for my liking. All in all a faultless meal.

The serving staff were attentive. The two of us had a soft drink along with our meals and the total bill came to under £21. A definite family favourite.

Cracking menue to pick from, nice simple food. Good portions.


Check with them for details of the specials they do, Sunday has a carvery all you can eat for £5.50, but check what the times are. Also have a curry deal one night thru the week.


Also, a smashin pint o lager (or two) to wash it down!
Service was first class & came with a smile.
