Delivery was missing some items. Thomann initially refused to send them because I had already recycled the massive box they shipped everything in, and offered store credit. On further pushing, they agreed to send the rest of the order to me.

It seemed strange to be ordering a piano from a German supplier, but Google Shopping diligently informed me that they were cheaper than any UK shop so I went to look at the site. Their website is really thorough - they clearly are stocked with a very large quantity of musical instruments and related equipment. It is easy to use and built in English with GBP conversion at every page.
After carefully comparing the options, I bought a digital piano - they offered a headset as well for the same price - so I went for it. Delivery to the UK (and many European countries) is free and there is a 30 day money back guarantee so I'm feeling quite comfortable about buying it from them.
Once the order was placed, a member of the Thomann team contacted me personally and explained how my order may be affected by the peak Xmas shopping period etc, and the way in which it will be delivered (the UK corrieur will contact me once its in the country and arrange an appointed time for delivery). The service has been spot on -- and the instrument hasn't even arrived yet!

I ordered a guitar on October 1st, 2018, which was in stock. The guitar status said printing invoice from the 4th-8th. I chatted with with Thomann online chat 3 times, and each time they blamed the one holiday, which I knew they would do. Today I decided to try emailing my countries contact email, and it worked. They said it was a problem with their logistics system, and it will be sent soon. Who knows how long it would take if I didn't hound them to look into it. Supposedly it's shipping today at normal shipping method. You'd think they could upgrade the shipping so I get it faster, which is why I'm writing this to say how much I HATE Thomann. They are the most bureaucratic, responsibility passers I've ever seen. No one want's to take responsibility, and help the customer. I'll never buy from Thomann again. Thomann charged my credit card an extra 19 euros, which they deny. Since the 4th I've made 3 music orders from another company totaling 1400 euro so Thomman lost my business now, and forever. I don't think anyone at Thomann cares. I hope Thomann will closes soon, in fact I'm sure they will. I will be celebrating.
