Oh no 025. Juni 2016Vorheriger BeitragIt was a simple battery replacement for my Seiko watch but it was easy in and easy out. The $10.00 price is fair, too. I would definitely recommend Time Palace Jewelers for your watches (all brands as far as I can see!).

He has fixed other watches of mine too in the past & he is very professional & polite & the best watch/clock guy I know in all of OC.
Don't waste your time elsewhere ! Go to Al @ Time Palace :)

Then the wall clock started working only 3-4 days per winding (regularly it should work 7-8-9 days). I took it to another clock master who kept it for repairs for 10 months, and when I took it back, he was angry because he didn't have enough time to fix it. Then I took it to the second clock master who, after the inspection, said apologetically that he couldn't fix it at all. I thought to give up, and then I decided to try the third time. Thanks God because I discovered this place and Mrs. Al.
He told me to leave the wall clock for seven days for him to do an inspection. The day after he called me and said he had fixed the wall clock. It was strange to me that he repaired the wall clock after only one day, while the previous clock master complained that it was not enough for him for 10 months. I insisted that the wall clock stay with him for another 6 days so that he would monitor it.
I took home a wall clock 2 years ago, and the wall clock still works perfectly. Mrs. Al is the only clock master that I will ever let work on my family wall clock. He is the only one I trust. He is definitely a true expert and master clock.

Yes, the watch battery replacement was priced at a premium, but you are paying someone way overqualified who during my visit, had to distract himself from servicing a "real" watch to take care of me as a walk-in. I felt the $20 was borderline but just about reasonable considering this.
I am more excited to know this place exists and that there is such a skilled person available locally for mechanical watch services. His quotes on watch work was much more reasonable.
