U.S. Bank Branch

I thought I would write a review because of the prior reviews. Where I bank is very important to me. When I moved here I continued to bank in Iowa for 3 years before I finally opened an account here because "My Bank" isn't something I like to change. I walked into a couple different banks before selecting this one. I walk in and honestly interview them in my kind of way. This was the only bank that made me feel like I was at "My Bank". I will give a special thanks to Sheila and Heather. They made the transition very easy.

I will also say that I am a face to face customer. I refuse to go through the drive through. I always walk in and do my business face to face. I haven't had any bad experiences there and I specifically like working with one teller that always calls me by name before I even walk up to the counter. (I wish I could remember her name, I'm very bad about that)

I've had a couple issues with some bank charges and one call to Sheila and they have been taken care of.

I went to this branch due to the extremely poor service at the Washington Mo branch, turns out it is possible to be worse the Washington. In this case the young man that attempted to assist us was rude from the beginning. Body language indicted we were intruding on his otherwise carefree day. He treated our questions and documents with distain and I am surprised, being in banking myself for 17 years, that US Bank does not seem to wish to differentiate themselves by innovative products, enticing interested rates, or by training their employees that customers are required if they intend to stay in business.
With the regulatory pressure eliminating true service innovation and product ingenuity from the marketplace, you would think it would be a great opportunity to do the one thing the government has not been able to identify let alone practice, Customer Service.
I cant close my accounts with US Bank fast enough.

Do you have 45 minutes to wait in line? Do you like when your bankers walk by and ask how you're doing but don't actually do anything to fix your problems? Then come by the US Bank. While visiting on a Monday afternoon at 1:00, my mom and I had to wait in line for 45 minutes while there was only two tellers available. The line had 8 people deep. On two separate occasions people walked by, asked how everyone was doing, and continued on their way. They didn't bring in more tellers or attempt to expedite the process. 20 minutes into our session with the teller, they finally brought out a third teller. Management needs to act on customer complaints, instead of simply asking then walking away.

I had a homeowners insurance claim & their name was on the claim check along with mine, as they are the lien holder. They drug their feet painfully long, made me jump through more hoops than a circus animal. Then the truth came out... I opened a checking & savings account and then everything was taken care of in two days. I had been trying to get MY money from them for three weeks! I have to wait 6 months to close the accounts or they will charge me $100 in fees. This is absurd. It's like a legalized hostage situation. Where's the anti terror task force?

i opened a business account there,the tellers are not friendly,having problems with my account, closed my account not the best place to bank will not go back!!!
