The food: Although the ramen soup looked a bit pale, it was very tasty and delicious. I wish I had more and that's why I would only give it 4/5 - food size is a bit small.

The feeling: Most of the waiters had big smiles and were very welcoming, but it didn't feel very welcoming as no one cared when you walked in.

      Ambiance: Great interior.

Traditonal no, but we are in Germany not Japan! Everything we ordered was good beyond just edible but nothing ticked all the boxes as the flavors we love from Japan, gyoza was probably the most traditional.
Hubby ordered ramen it's the reason I choose this place on a cold day and his love of ramen. He ordered #2 Gyu ramen, he asked for extra spice (which comes in a bowl on the side) and changed the beef for the rolled pork which was his favorite and most authentic part of the ramen. Noodles were obviously thinner and from a bag compared to fresh ramen in Japan, but he was happy to enjoy and slurp all the broth!
I ordered Yakitori as our appetizer which was all white meat which i prefer typically but never had yakitori this way nor had it not coated in the sauce as part of the grilling process; came with a yaki dip that was okay nothing great nor memorable. I ordered the chicken gyoza which was great, To round out my meal as I prefer all the stuff other than ramen I ordered the Karaage which was served on quinoa (which I learned I guess I like) it would have been 5 stars had it been served with lemon and find ground salt and pepper like it should be! All in all if we were back here we might hit them back up, unless better reviews for another japanese style place was in the area.

They surprisingly took forever to make our ramen even though ramen is typically quick to make. Our ramen was nothing special. Bit of a disappointment.

I have been in Japan for 6 month and cook Japanese food by myself. This restaurant is neither good nor authentic. They even write wrong information at the beginning of the menu (like all soups in Japan are called Ramen). I only add a short summary here, details are in the German review (use Google translate).
The soy soup is very strange and the noodles are not authentic (neither Ramen nor Soba). Finally, we also found other ingrediends in our soup which should not belong there (like dark Soba noodles beneath white men noodles).
The rice was too hard and the soy sauce for gyoza was neither authentic nor good.
Furthermore, we received a dark wheat beer instead of a black beer (Schwarzbier).
      Final rating: dottemo oishikunai

Been to this place once in a Thursday night. The food was pretty good, the service was on time and could speak English. Good price range. I don't have a vast knowledge on Japanese noodles, and I saw people complaining about the authenticity and use of right ingredients on the right place. All I can say is that on the table that I was seated, everyone got satisfied with the food and with the place in general. Would totally go again.

I had high hopes for this place, but I was fairly disappointed. First, it has a great central location, very nice interior atmosphere, and good service. Unfortunately, the food really let me down. Ordered classic pork shoyu ramen. Sometimes there is food that you cant get enough of, and then sometimes there is food you are tired of after two bites. This was the latter. The broth was flat and oversalted. The pork didnt seem like good quality and the other ingredients were just a bit sad looking. I didnt end up finishing it. On a positive note, the seasonal specials looked really interesting, and the hot pear cider I had was very good.

Geki Mazu.(meaning " taste horrible" in Japanese.)
The worst ramen which I've tasted in my life.
Why is the shoyu ramen so sour?
      And the noodles taste funny?
I'm not sure if the owner has passion to sell Japanese foods.
If they run the restaurant under the name of Japanese,
then I would like them to learn more about Japan itself.
Please don't run the restaurant just to make more money than running other restaurants.
I wouldn't have been so harsh if this was a vietnamies or thai restaurant.
Then I would have payed 5 Euro gladly. ( This is the maximum price for this ramen.)
