      This place is absolutely amazing.
Completely vegan with lots of raw food options, you'll find something for your palate for sure! There's a large buffet that you pay for by weight, it includes rice, a bread option, salads, cold and hot dishes, and a plethora of sauces, dressings, and dips.
The food is super filling and nutritious. They also serve a variety of raw desserts and many juice and tea options.

I love that in this day and age, almost every city I travel to has a vegan gem that just makes me feel right at home. The vibe is hippie/yogi/cozy. You can sit at one of the small tables and order a la carte, or go buffet style. Potted plants and little throw pillows create an inviting and comfy space to sit and enjoy. If you're wondering what those huge jars with brown liquid and what looks like jelly fish are, that's home made kombucha. Try some.

Grab a large silver platter from the heated cabinet and go to town. After you fill your plate, they will weigh it at the register. Mine plus two desserts came to 22£. I pigged out. See photos.

Everything is vegan and gluten-free. Some of the buffet items had cooled down to room temperature but that's a small negative considering I didn't need to worry about wheat or dairy being in any of the dishes. Fellow vegans will understand.

You can go raw/fermented with slaws smothered in sunflower butter cream (delish) or hot with baked beans, chilis, stews, noodles and rice. Unfortunately they were out of buckwheat crepes. My faves were the biryani, BBQ jackfruit and mushrooms in sunflower seed cream sauce. So flavorful. Flavor profiles were mostly Indian, with lots of cumin, turmeric, ginger, cloves and cinnamon, but nothing too hot or with that assertive curry flavor.

Make sure you save room for one of their raw desserts. The selection is amazing and it's hard to pick just one. Someone snagged the last brownie so I had the blueberry cheeze cake plus raw apple pie for later. OMG guilt and sugar free dessert heaven. Not too sweet but so nourishing. The granola streusel topping on thr apple pie, genius. The coconut whipped cream, divine. If I lived here, this spot would be a regular, especially since they deliver.

My husband and I came here on our first night visiting London. We're both vegan and did a lot of walking and barely ate so we had quite the appetite. We ordered the pizette as an app (meh) and the Volcano squash for an entree (underwhelming) + the buffet 2x. It sounds like a lot but really it wasn't. We were still hungry when we left but knew the food wasn't hitting the spot so we called it quits. We had a nice conversation with the table next to us and staff was super nice and friendly. This would probably be a good lunch option but not a date.

I can't say I'd come back here or recommend it to anyone. It's not that it isn't good - but I'd prefer to go elsewhere. It was average.

Lunch. Healthy gluten-free and vegan buffet style restaurant. I've never used the option where you weigh your meal. I chose to use a container and fill it up. You can dine in or take out. It's slightly more expensive to dine in.

      Menu:
This restaurant has a large selection of gluten-free and vegan dishes. All the dishes look fresh and healthy. You serve yourself, buffet style. The dishes are not very spicy or extremely flavorful but there is an assortment of sauces to add more heat and flavor. I also tried the blueberry tart but I found it to be dry and too sweet.

      Venue:
The interior is very quirky. The tables and chairs are made of natural wood. Vantra is close to the tube station and right across the street from a mega Primark.

      Service:
The staff is very friendly and available to answer any questions about their food items.

Hmm, now this is an interesting one to review!

I'm not vegan, vegetarian, or overly health conscious... I don't eat buckets of fried food, but I don't stay away from drinks and the occasional buffalo wing, etc.

That said, I'm not too much for cakes, pies, or candy... so it was odd that I found myself here with a friend when walking to the tube on a Wednesday evening. Intrigued by anything different we wandered in, quite late being after 11:00pm, and ordered a few treats from the window... we were so intrigued we order a few things to eat in and a few things to take with us.

The good thing is that the cakes and treated in the window definitely look the part to be sugar free and at least vegetarian (if not vegan), with the downside for some being they don't carry the sweetness that typically accommodates such looks; for me, in particular, this wasn't too much of an issue since I tend to shy away from anything overly sweet, but even so a slightly stronger sense of taste wouldn't have hurt. (For the record my friend and I sprinkled a little Splenda and ground cinnamon on the pieces we brought home and were quite impressed!)

I'll go on a limb and say that if the vegan or vegetarian life is your thing then this is probably a find of epic proportions... aside from the glorious looking treats they also do different smoothies, etc., that are probably worth checking out.

Above said, if you are a person addicted to standard in your face sweet cakes it may be best to avoid or perhaps ask what their sweetest tasting recommendation would be... of the four things we received none were too strong, but again... that was OK with us all things considered and somewhat expected given the marketing.

The place itself has a great cabin / island feel to it, and is quite large... the gentleman on hand that even was also helpful and pleasant so no fault there.

As a last note, there's an article inside that names this place as one of the only truly nutritionally focused places of its sort in the UK, so that's an interesting point.

All in all I can definitely see myself popping in here again if in the area, especially if I'm hoping for an option with a bit less guilt than the norm... with the right mindset it's definitely worth giving a try!

Towards the entrance from inside... a great jungle sorta vibe.

An amazing delicious raw &/ vegan restaurant at the Tottenham Court Road tube end of Oxford Street.

The food is breathtakingly moorish and it fills you up in a delightful way.

We came to get the buffet. Where you take a steel plate and put what you want on it and then weigh it for the price.

Each and everything I placed on my plate were delicious and I would definitely go back here again.

I am disappointed in Vantra, I truly am. I came here back in March this year for a dinner experience and if I reviewed back then I would have given them 5 stars, the dinner was much better and the atmosphere that day might have just done the trick.
But, for the other day, me and my boyfriend went to Vantra after I had been going on about this place for months and I even booked a surprise trip to London to go to this place so I could show him the magic. Luckily we had so many other things on our agenda to do for the trip after my Vantra experience was destroyed.
We went for the buffé because we came there a little too early for dinner, which was also the first warning sign. I didn't actually want the buffé, if only I had listened to my gut instinct.
They told us to take food in a silver plate if we wanted to eat in, and pay by weight. I didn't expect it to be all that expensive for just a lunch, and especially since I didn't take much food on my plate. Here's the first problem. They need to make it clear to the customer that it's possible to take the box with the fixed price if you want to eat in, that was like 7-8£ and I paid 20£ for less food on my silver plate. Where is the freaking logic or sense in that? Please tell me, Vantra? You will lose customers if you keep doing it in this way, it's not nice towards customers and really not honest. We paid far far too much for really bland food that didn't taste like anything special at all, I don't know if they had a bad day. By looking at the Facebook reviews it doesn't seem that way, I'm not alone in this. I was too upset and just frankly disappointed in my experience that we just left and went and ate a larger dinner elsewhere. London probably has more to offer when it comes to Vegan/Vegetarian food, I just wish I knew that before. If they step up their game, and want to represent Vegan food in a better way I would love to come back.

This place is pretty much the greatest place on earth. As someone who can't eat gluten, onion and doesn't eat meat, I really struggle to find places to eat. Vantra doesn't use gluten, onion, garlic, vinegar and the food is free from GMOs, microwave usage and it's all vegan. Truly it's my little haven in the middle of Oxford St.

There are lots of delicious smoothies and milkshakes, they use coconut milk or nut milks, a tea bar plus coffees. The food is served by a buffet bar. You choose a plate which is weighed and charged accordingly - £1.80 for 100gms. Of course when you see all the amazing food on offer the price of a plate goes up quickly. A box is the most economical option, £5.50 for a small (cheaper to take away than eat in) and £6.50 for a large. And you can fit a good amount of food in those boxes. I truly highly recommend this place. So good. Go there, feel healthy and enjoy every mouthful !!!

I am not Vegan but am wheat and dairy intolerant. I try to eat 'healthy' foods although am not hung up on it and do eat meat most days. I wouldn't normally chose a Vegan or Vegetarian to eat out but this was recommended by a friend so thought I would try it.

The restaurant is nice and cosy. Staff pleasant and helpful. The way it works is you can choose from the buffet or main menu. With the buffet you help yourself and then weigh your plate and you are charged by weight. Lots of varied choice although my friend and I decided to go with the main menu.

It was quite difficult to chose as I wasn't sure what most things were, I had 'oasis of Sahara' which was a flax seed wrap and my friend had 'southern volcano' which was a coconut curry. I still wasn't convinced by this stage as I also struggled with finding a drink from several pages of 'organic loose leaf and fresh tea', 'organic coffee or alternatives superfood in your favourite style' 'probiotic' drinks Mylk drinks, I'm sure you get my drift by now, and all I wanted was a nice glass of wine with my meal but they didn't serve alcohol.

Anyway when the food arrived it was very well presented and tasted absolutely delicious, both of us loved our meals. There was a choice of 3 desserts and we both had lemon and mango cheesecake which was good.

This is my first Vegan restaurant and has made me want to try others. I therefore can't rate this against other restaurants of a similar type but if you are looking for a tasty meal out in a relaxed atmosphere try this place, I will certainly be going again
