Sometimes, just sometimes, shops in Stirling don't cut it. They're smaller and have poor stock levels and less variety in comparison to branches in larger cities. Sometimes, it's just easier to get the train to Glasgow or Edinburgh and browse there, in shops with better availability.
I've never once felt this way about Waterstones Stirling and I love browsing this store just as much as stores anywhere else. It's not big enough to merit a coffee shop so, unsurprisingly, there isn't one. But it's a very good size with an upstairs, comparable to the Argyle Street store. It's a great place to spend a half hour and always seems tidy and well-organized. I do love a good book browse and this ticks all the boxes!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Meghan M.Bo'ness, Vereinigtes Königreich117728. Apr. 2014
The staff in here are VERY knowledgeable about books.
There is a good range of e-readers, bestsellers, literary fiction, non-fiction, cookbooks, and some quirky things here. Go in for a browse, even if you're not normally a reader - you might be surprised by what appeals to you once you're in. This really is a bookshop that caters to all tastes.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
