Miki was professional and friendly, and his work was awesome!

We brought three prints to Westlake Custom Framing, and Miki patiently spent at least two hours going over framing and matting options for all of them. (We had two of the prints framed for the first time, and a third print re-matted.) He never rushed us, and he always lent just the right amount of guidance.

When we picked up the finished pieces, we were so happy with the results! Our prints look amazing in their custom frames, and we are so happy that we went with Miki. These will be on display in our home for many years, thanks to his care. :)

I bought a painting from a friend of mine that was a little small and I wanted to make the overall size (After framing) much larger. Not really sure how to go about it, he made several suggestions in regards to matting and frame choices that wouldn't over power the painting itself. P.S. just get the museum glass, you wont regret it. In the end I ended up with an amazing painting that is now 100% show ready. The fit and finish of the work is fantastic and I couldn't be happier.

He is very experienced, very helpful and a downright pleasure to work with. He framed my Alexei Butirskiy Limited Edition Giclee on Canvas Bridge to Freedom ...(see his posted pics to see.) It turned out better than I could imagine. He stretched the canvas perfectly for the frame, the frame was exactly what I wanted. I will refer everyone I know to Westlake Custom Framing. Miki's the best! After graduating from college, I debated between buying a standard diploma frame from the bookstore and having my diploma custom framed. Having gone with the latter option, I can't tell you how many compliments I've received in the office over the past few months. The work was professional and competitively priced. Wow!!!!! I don't know where to start!!! My husband and I have a humble art collection and brought a couple pieces to Westlake custom framing. The owner/framer Miki was amazing!!! We had some ideas of what we wanted, but were blown away by his selection, ideas and creativity!!! He turned our wonderful pieces into spectacular works of art!!! We had no idea that the right frame and matting could add so much!!! We have since brought more pieces in and honestly continue to be impressed by his craftsmanship!!! I don't want to focus on prices because his work is beyond first rate, but on top of being the best his prices are so reasonable!!! Thank you so much Miki for such a wonderful experience!!! Micky does excellent work. I love the frame and matting choice he put together for the picture we had framed. The price was reasonable, the work high quality, and Micky was super responsive and helpful by phone when I had a few questions. I'll be back for sure and you should go too! Westlake Custom Framing is a real find.

As a visual artist I am extremely particular about framers and have seen a wide range of different levels of craftsmanship; I would definitely put Miki in the top tier. His aesthetic and technical knowledge are excellent, as is his handiwork. He is also very pleasant to work with and professional. I have no doubt that if I had any problem with any of his framework down the road he would take care of it beautifully.

Just picked up a VERY large piece from Westlake Framing and can't say enough about what a positive experience I had. Miki, the owner and framer, was very patient as we went through several moulding options. Plus, his prices are extremely reasonable. He gave me the hooks I would need for hanging, gave me specific instructions on how to care for the frame and the glass and helped me squeeze the piece into the back of my SUV. (I told you it was big!)

Miki was great to work with. I made a cross stitch picture for my daughter and son-in-laws first anniversary and brought it to Miki to frame for me. I explained to him that I wanted some cushioning behind the picture and he understood exactly what I wanted and helped me pick out a frame. He did a fantastic job and it came out even better than I had thought it would! My daughter and son-in-law were so thrilled with the gift and even commented on the look and the frame. I will definitely use Miki again in the future. Thank you for doing such a great job on the picture.

Miki is the real deal - from start to finish. I brought him a piece I wanted to have framed for my brother's birthday. He has a large selection of frames/framing options to choose from, all on display for you to see and touch. I had an idea as to how I wanted this piece framed and Miki was fantastic at pulling some examples off the wall and letting me choose. He took the time to converse with me and bounce ideas back and forth. Once I decided on a frame we discussed glass options. I went with museum glass, a bit pricier than traditional glass but for good reason, and it made the final product really pop. Once ready I picked up my brother's gift and he advised me on how to hang it properly, which included giving me the hardware for hanging and the measurements needed to space the hooks apart. A professional from beginning to end he even went so far as to check in a few days later to see how my brother is enjoying his gift - and he loves it of course!
