Okay, okay, I have definitely grown to like this place. I think I needed to find out what I enjoyed, and I discovered that I really enjoy the nigiri pieces. The inside-out California rolls also took some time to adjust to because they are different from the California rolls I am familiar with back home (I mean, I am from California).
I also really like that the servers are really nice, and the service is quick. They also offer tea, chips and wasabi peas as you wait for your meal. Also, I would recommend going for one of the combos because the amount is good for the price you pay. Personally, I enjoy the Takasaki Menü, but I did not really like the West Coast Menü...sesame seeds are just too much.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 030. Juni 2011Vorheriger BeitragI initially saw this restaurant on a random Sunday afternoon walk around Tempelhof, and decided to give it a try a few days later when I received a menu in my mailbox. It is close to the U-Bahn Tempelhof station, and they have a good variety of sushi rolls and nigiri. I had ebi and the California rolls, and they were probably as good as it could be in Berlin, or even Europe.
Just remember: Asian food in Germany, or anywhere in Europe, is never as good as it is in the respective countries or in the States -- true story.
