Zur Grünen Insel

From a vegan point of view this is not the place to go. The meat lover will be happy here. It is a small restaurant and we chose it because of the good reviews. It was quiet and we were happy to be there. The owners seem very nice, probably not the original owners the reviews are talking about. There is no digital payment possible, only cash. Definitely worth a try, however not for vegans, also not vegetarians.

We went back again the next day. Cheap, and so very VERY tasty. If you have a big appetite and love a good piece of meat, you will love it here.

The staff is clean and friendly and serve very quick. The restaurant is small and feels cosy. The chef is super friendly.

Only downside for me is that they had no icecream and they niglected to mention It before ordering (we would've ordered entrees if we knew).

Still, we would highly recommend eating here.
