Very tasty vegetarian food and reasonable in prices. I loved the Neatloaf dinner. It gave you the feeling you were eating meatloaf. The tomatoe sauce was very hearty with a zing to it. It almost tasted like BBQ sauce. My fiance got the BBQ tofu burger (something like that). I had a bite of that and it wasn't that bad. you definitely need the sauce. The dipping sauce for the samosa appy was incredible. It was a mango sauce very sweet and tangy. I want to try more on the menu. I would go back for sure.
I have to say this is my favorite Whole Foods market. Not only do I work 2 blocks away, but I love their selection of food, especially the gluten/wheat-free stuff. It's also not a super crowded place, only at lunch time which is a normal thing. But the check-out lines are pretty quick and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The only thing is that their produce is pretty pricy.
Great teachers, classes and studio overall! I also love the fact that it's down the street from me. It's in a pretty good neighborhood that might seem run down to some, but I don't feel uncomfortable walking around even at night. I have been practicing yoga for 9 years and teaching for 2 years and I would really love to study with one of these teachers on a regular basis. The population is very diverse which is another plus. Not commercial or full of scenesters.
This was my second time trying pilates and I have found it to be a great experience. I started in September and I've only been doing semi-privates with a friend, but I have to say, it's the best thing I could have ever done! If you've never done pilates, I suggest taking a few privates or semi-privates so you have the instructor's full on attention. There are so many things you can do incorrectly and being a yoga teacher, safety is so important. The instructors are very knowledgable, friendly and helpful. So far so good.
