The surprise of the year, still, it doesn't beats Sushi Yasuda. The timing between nigiri and nigiri was perfect. The taste of the fish was very fresh. The sake was delicious. It was one of the best dinners of my life. Never expected something so tasty. The salmon. Applause for this place. The best of all, it's in my neighborhood, so i just walk a few blocks and i'm there.
What a surprise! One of the best sushi bars in New York. A hidden gem. Surprisingly there are hundreds of reviews for sushi Yasuda in Yelp, and just 30 for Sushiden.
Try it, all the place was full of japanese people, that's a good sign, it's right in the japanese restaurant district (Yasuda, Sakagura, Aboriya kinosuke). It's much better than Sasabune, and cheaper than Sushi of Gari. Its traditional sushi, fresh fish. This is why New York is sushi heaven, because when you think you tasted the best, there is someone better. The waitresses in their kimonos are hilarious. Sushiden: Arigato.
Seat at the sushi bar and ask for chef Kenji Kitahara.
High end sushi. The best in New York. I am a regular customer, i've eaten with master Yasuda, and i always eat at the bar. Cant be more delicious this place.
This is sushi utopia. The decor is cool, cold, it depends on how you see it: a sushi shrine with minimalistic decor or sushi paradise with a boring seting, because there is no other description.
The fish is fresh. Sushi Yasuda and Sushiden are the best.
New York is full of pretentious restaurants, where they charge you hundreds of dollars and you may have great dinner, or it can be a disaster. Smith and Wollensky may not be a high end restaurant, but i always enjoy it like it was.
My mother is a great chef, and she recommended me this place a few years ago, she ate there in the 80's, that's good taste.
I love the 4 shrimp cocktail, they are big, tasty. The shrimp cocktail is better than the lobster cocktail. The specialities here are the steaks, but the General Lee's Pork Ribs are so good. It is that kind of food you really enjoy.
It opens till late, i had my new years eve dinner there, to get a table in new york late without reservation and eat well is priceless.
Once they had a lobster special, in my life i never ate so much lobster meat. There is a word for this place: abundant.
It may have a 70's look, it doesn't have music. I go to the grill, where i always find a table without reservation. It is my favorite neighborhood restaurant.
I haven't tried the steaks, i should, but that pork ribs always win. Five stars. Period.
i will continue to eat at Smith and Wollensky for years to come. Now I have to try Peter Luger.
Don't forget the classic restaurants in New York. Cafe Fiorello always has a table, for lunch or dinner. It's in the West Side, an area that i don't visit very often for lunch or dinner.
The Supreme Pizza is their specialty, a mix of prosciutto, meat and salami, with the fiorello flavor that is just yummy. That cheese has something. I like the space, nothing out of this world. The thing in cafe Fiorello is the food, the pizza, crusty and thin, When i think of that pizza, i just smile,

|My favorite of all in NYC until now.||Trust us, you don't want to eat here.|
|Never go there.||Not pretentious, good food, the best. I was a freshman in NY.|
